Holy crap, he's a big kid. Reminds me of Patton Robinette or a Dyersburg Zach Gentry. Has a nice arm - one throw was almost Bray-esque.

Maybe he will be like that Lane Johnson or whatever his name was from Oklahoma. End up being a LT and get drafted third overall. Big ole boy, he could end up playing somewhere.
Congats on walking on and being a A Vol 4 Life...

Haven't watched Will's film but is he as mobile as Gentry? Gentry is no Johnny Football, but not many QBs Gentry's size are as mobile as he is IMO

He's not a burner but he runs pretty well. Enough that it was surprising for a kid that size.

Okay I need to get around to watching Will's film. If he has Gentry speed or close to it I will be pretty excited to have him as a walkon.

I was told that he runs well and has a good arm. He never had a target to throw to in HS and is still a bit rough around the edges. He has some upside per my Dyersburg source.

Sounds like a similar story to Favre. His dad, the HC of his high school, ran the wing T when Brett was there. Nobody knew Brett was epic except for Southern Miss. He ended up being a 1990 second rounder or a 2013 first rounder (32nd overall I believe )

Whoever gets Will is getting a great kid from a great family. He may never play a down for UT but at the least he will make the team better every day at practice. Really hope he picks UT

I've met Will several times and have nothing but great things to say about him. Comes from a great family, whole family is UT grads, and just has a good head on his shoulders. Definitely has the size and skills to play SEC ball, just has to be given the chance to prove himself. Like others have mentioned, Dburg has a big running game so Will knows how to run the ball but also has a cannon of an arm. He will be a great addition to the Team 118!

Of course I'm biased because I'm from Dyersburg, but Will definitely has the raw talent that can be sharpened at UT. Very happy to see a fellow alum play for Big Orange

I hope the kid enjoys his UT experience. He's getting to do something a lot of kids just get to dream about.

On a side note I noticed that CBJ took (3) walk-on QBs in the last class. Is it just me or does that seem like a lot? Of course I don't really care as a walk-on is always easy to pull for. I love seeing one crack the 2 deep and get to see live game action.

I think he likes his walk-ons to run the scout team and wants to have a variety to simulate various other QBs. I really don't think he's trying to have any more scholarship guys running the scout team like with what happened last year.

It appears that QB Bradshaw has just moved up the depth chart.......... and he hasn't even gotten on campus yet.

His film looks really good. A big body with wheels and an above average arm. Needs to work on his mechanics though. Looks like he has a pretty bad case of happy feet. Nothing that CBJ and staff can't fix.
