What makes you think we get this guy. There's been no interest shown by him, he hasn't visited, no reporter has even said we are going after him. So other than him being with a pic with KM what makes you think that?

Well rooster I read a quote from someone(can't remember where) but I think it was a 247 guy sayin that KM would bring elite talent with him. The second reason is KM said that he had some west coast guys he was going to bring in with him. Another reason is you become a dominant program by getting multiple difference makers like KM, Houston, Williams, Sweat. And I got a feeling he will sign with us.

If there were any kind of communication between the two parties I would think maybe. Sweat is a long shot but if he goes to the SEC it's between us and Georgia and I like our chances with that. We will be stacked at OLB with Bates and Austin Smith leading the way for the coming years.

Just some advice. Be careful that when you say things that you state them with "I have a feeling." Because if people mistake you for claiming you have info when you just have a feeling, it can really get you flamed.

When you said "We're going to get both," it could be taken that you knew something we don't. That can hurt your cred.

But it sounds like you're saying that you have a feeling that since KM and Houston seem to be close, and that you believe that KM has some ties to the West Coast players like Houston that might pay off in recruiting, that we might could possibly get in the game with him.

You hurt yourself when you say "We're going to get both" when there's been absolutely no evidence to show that he's even really interested in us.

Just trying to help you out. I get what you're saying, but don't want you to be a guy that people just brush off because he didn't phrase what he meant just right. You're just saying you got a feeling that Kahlil might help us out with this guy, not claiming any knowledge of the situation, right?

And that being said, I'd LOVE it if Kahlil was able to get us in on some West Coast guys like Houston. Some of our best players have come from the West Coast. Houston would be a huge get. Wouldn't be hugely surprised to at least get a visit from him, no doubt. We'll see what kind of work Mr. Bucket does on the recruiting trail.

Yes, but you're implying that your feeling = fact. Which it does not. While you may feel that Kahlil's connection to the guy may land him for us, that does not make it fact, nor has there been anything to show us it will happen.

Therefore, I wouldn't tell people they are wrong for suggesting that they don't believe that we will land this guy, when nothing factual has said that we will.

Maybe you don't understand the concept of the recruiting forum. Yes, we offer opinions and conjecture on topics from time to time. But for the most part, we try to use actual information we receive from various sources when claiming whether we may or may not get someone. If your gut is telling you something, then fine. Just state as much. Most of what I have seen you post would be better served on the football forum. All that is discussed over there is people's opinions on a topic. And yes, your 3 star thread was nonsense and would have been better served on another forum where all the chicken littles could have gathered in one place to bite their nails.
