Disagree. I think of a bandwagon fan as someone who roots for a team based on their level of success.
I agree. However, if a player (Lebron for instance) jumps around from team to team and your favorite player is Lebron, so whichever team he plays for automatically becomes your favorite team, doesn't that make you a bandwagon fan? You'd just be on the Lebron bandwagon, instead of the winning team bandwagon. There are different types of bandwagon fans.

Then you are calling half of East Tennessee bandwagon fans, sir.
I admit to being a Brett Hull (hockey) bandwagon fan when I was a kid because he was my favorite player. I rooted for the Blues, Stars, and Redwings because of him. I never said there was anything wrong with it, I just fully acknowledge its being a bandwagon fan. You were the one who said you hated bandwagon fans and liked to call them out.
They are. Seen all them damn Bama tags and stickers all over their cars? Sheesh.. Lived here all my life and, as it's been stated many times, half the population have become lifelong Bama fans in the last five years.
Yeah, that is true, as well. But it's different from rooting for Peyton. And probably the reason I get so upset when I come across said posers.
