Does the name Eric Fisher ring a bell?:loco:
It's hard to recognize sarcasm when something isn't even 1% funny...
"Has offers from x,y,x"
"Don't want, offers suck"
"HahhahahahahahAhhahhahhaahahaHahhahahahahahhahHahahahahhahahhHahah"
:/
Lineman 40 times reminds me of Lewan, who put up a beast mode 40 for an OT at the combine... I don't know why Titan fans were so upset with that pick. Clowney had high praise for him and the guy could be an anchor on the line for the next decade.
I'm sure it's a grand story too
It is actually. Quick overview: I have said that offer lists mean very little compared to talent, hard work and coaching when it comes to measuring collegiate success. I was called dumb for thinking that way. So when I see a prospect that CBJ is after that does not have an elite offer list, I say what I said to be sarcastic. And to shed light on how stupid using offer lists to gauge how good a player can be.
Let me clarify, I am one that thinks offer lists mean very little when measuring potential success at the collegiate level. I think talent, hard work and coaching means much more. I was told I was stupid to think that way. So I was just being butthurt.
And speaking of slow playing, the Vols might have missed out on an offensive tackle, but you can't blame them for going all in with 5-star offensive tackle Drew Richmond who committed to Ole Miss last week. Tennessee has now fully turned their attention to a few other top candidates to fill a void on the line. At this point, it is likely the Vols will be putting the full-court press on North Carolina commit William Sweet of Jacksonville First Coast. While he has been committed to the Tar Heels since April, Sweet has always seemed relatively open to other schools, including the Vols. Look for that interest to heat up considerably with Richmond off the market. Another offensive tackle who will likely get more attention from the Vols is Michael Howard. As mentioned, another possibility could have been Alex Givens, but the Vols had been slow playing him recently and that ended with him also giving a commitment to Ole Miss last week. New names will obviously also emerge for the Vols at offensive tackle in the coming months.
If his UF offer is committable, I'd have to think that is likely where he signs. He has had a UT offer for over 4 months and still has not made it on campus. Wonder if he is even interested in the Vols?
I think florida already has a couple tackles committed and i would assume they're all in on Ivey who is probably a NSD guy. So it'll be hard for this guy to wait around on them
