I was trying to end it, Captain Incredibly Insightful-In-Your-Own-Mind. Don't know how I would have gotten through the day without your tidbit of wisdom. BTW, a camp shows a body of work better than a HS career!?!? I guess you played?:eek:hmy:

You wouldn't agree that domination in a HS career AND camps are a greater body of work than simply one or the other?

You could argue it. At a camp you're going against the nation's best every rep. In HS, you are going against top talent in a few games at most.

Not that it has anything to do with anything, but you would guess right. I did play high school football. Did you? And by play, I mean where you ever on the field during the game. Because we had a lot of guys that took snapshots for the annual that I didn't even remember being on the team. My guess is that would have been you.

And where did I say a camp meant more than a HS career in different geographical locations against different competition? That's right, I didn't. Captain Too-Dense-To-Find-Your-Own-Team's-Message-Board.

I don't think they have one of those... First things first. Here is the most updated "to do" list for the dogs...
1) get an indoor practice facility
2) create fan base who cares
3) create message board when enough people care

And in college you're going up against the best of the best. You will also have the best coaching minds in the game that will make adjustments to try and beat you. If K Mac is as good as advertised you know that rival teams will scheme to try and beat you.

I'm cool with all that as long as we don't go broke.

And who exactly is broke? A little piece of advice. When attempting to insult a team, fan base, etc. make sure your insult is accurate. And by accurate I mean not regurgitated nonsense from talking heads that don't know their arse from a hole in the ground.

A Forbes article that was posted on this site about this time last year revealed even though we are having the worst stretch in our program's history on the field, we ranked 11th in revenue and 9th in profit margin in D-1 athletics for year end 2012. And while the reserve was down to about 2 million. That's not exactly broke. And our boosters have about as deep of pockets as any others in the country. Nice try.

Was a two-year started in HS before a pinched nerve in my neck ended my career. And, like TT, I played in one of the toughest divisions in one of the best football states in the US (GA). Where'd you play? If you know where you want to go, a camp ain't gonna do you a bit of good other than to satisfy some star geeks. There is no area in life you could make me curl up about anything. You truly don't matter enough. I normally hate the resume game as it allows people to think pinching a nerve in their neck mixing gatorade for the actual players gives them some sort of credibility. Especially since I just had a 20 year reunion 2 years ago. It's irrelevant to the conversation. The ironic part is that you giving your resume on an internet message board exhibits the same inbred traits that I see from people my age who still discuss high school. And that's generally because that was the peak of their existence and they really didn't amount to much after that.

I'm also not going to even continue a conversation with a guy who delusionally thinks he played against the stiffest competition in the nation and that camps don't properly showcase a blue chip recruits talent against other blue chip recruits across the nation. You made it an either/or scenario. That's not the comparison. Both played high school ball, but only one went to camps. And McKenzie was in the bag for the Vols well before he announced or camped. So that lame excuse about 'knowing where you want to go' shows how weak that area of the country is. Which make sense seeing as though you supposedly saw the field there, Captain-Guys-What-Flavor-Do-You-Want-This-Week.

Glossed over where you played. What position?

Lber and FB. Lettered 3 years. Played in the now defunct IMAC which was reclassed as 5A. Made it to the state playoffs 2 of the 3 years I started. Better?

I was OLB. Played a little TE early on, but settled at LB. Injured my neck in Jr. High, then again my Jr, year. Got a stinger at camp beginning my Sr year and doctor ended it. Still have neck problems and numbness all these years later.

I ran into the too small to play MLB and FB past high school. Ran a 4.7, so I was too slow to play secondary. I wrestled at 170, so I never really put the size on I needed to make any noise in football past HS. Was fortunate with injuries. My knees bother me some, but I'm 40. Had a compound fracture in my left arm, which cost me a lot of my freshman year.

Eh, like talking smack about football and all. You seem like a cool guy for a bulldog fan :) Of course that zero cat is a different story.

Had friends that wrestled. They were always either too big or too small. Football players at my HS were forbidden to play basketball because of loss of weight. Hard to believe nowadays. I was small until my sophomore year and we started weights hard. I could squat with the big uglies but couldn't bench nearly as much. Had a lot of hammie trouble and GA weather cramps. Camp was brutal. We drank out of water hoses. Concussions were nothing, you played on even when you didn't really know what was going on. The good ole' days.

Can you also throw this ball over those mountains?

This is entertaining. Thankfully it is not in a UT commit thread...

:)

To the Dawg, you should seek help from better doctors :hi: find a physician or physical therapist that understands the concept of neural mobilization (sometimes called nerve flossing) learn how to do it and it may correct your problem... :salute:
