15 GA OLB/RB Eric Swinney

"I've been to Auburn at least five or six times. I've been to Tennessee at least four times and the same with Ole Miss. I probably won't take anymore visits before I announce because spring practice just started back, but you never know, I could end up setting something up. I just don't have any plans to do so as of now."

What is the number one thing that sticks out about Auburn?

"I like the type of offense they run and the type of running game they use for their tailbacks."

Tennessee?

"I like their tradition, coaching staff, and the fact that they're in a rebuilding process."

And Ole Miss?

"It's just a very beautiful place, and they have a great coaching staff. It's definitely a place I could see myself playing."

Ole Miss females got him on lock, IMO.

Ok he would be nice to have but it wouldn't be the end of the world missing him

Wow didn't know that he would be announcing so soon. I'm not sure what that means for us at this point because I haven't heard that much talk of him and UT lately.

Sure would like to get this guy! Watching his film wow is all i can say. Between him and RB Frazier either two would be a home run hit for our RB program.

Fast, Big RB, Breaks Tackles!!! With him and Hurd in the back field we would have a 1-2 punch.

Ole Miss most likely. UT is just a hat on the table at this point.

Ole Miss? Wtf. Not a shocker based on him trending there, but just wtf in general. Has to be $$$.

I hate when people say this because people are saying this exact same thing about UT now.

Ole miss is nice, the grove is awesome, and maybe Hugh Freeze is just doing a great job recruiting.

I agree. Hugh Freeze is killing it in recruiting. They are gonna give some people some problems this year imo.

It's Freeze. I kid you not, he is Butch Jones' long lost more-religious, Southern twin. Preaches the exact same family shtick, runs the same option offense, players/recruits love him, high-character, quality man. I know a couple guys that played for him at A-State and they love him. I was skeptical about it first too (what talented recruit wants to go to Ole Miss?), but he is a good guy.

Given that school's history of flying the rebel flag and race issues on campus, Freeze must be a heck of a salesman.

(Disclaimer: I am in no position to understand the perspective of a young black man)

But I THINK .... 18 year old black kids don't really fully grasp/comprehend/care the culture that existed in mid-20th century America, in the context of segregation/race. I'ts not important to them. They see a devoted football program, pretty girls, and the chance to make money playing the game they love. History is way down the totem pole to these guys.

I think it's good if Ole Miss can start evening the playing field in WEST... but i realize this is hard to argue this year considering Alabama's rapid pace at stacking up blue-chip recruits like cord wood so far.

Between Ole Miss, UGA and UT, Ole Miss is 3rd in pretty much any comparable category. The Grove is for tailgating. I doubt the coaches will let him pre-game in the Grove before kickoff. He went there because he has friends there. And he's probably getting paid.

Butch Davis did a "great job recruiting" at UNC, too. That's why he got fired.

Plus that extremely squeaky clean coaching tree from which he fell. I mean, if there ever was a guy who is gonna do things the right way, it's the guy who came up under Ed O.
