I stopped reading DE1's posts when he started using statements like "Most of you people need to realize"..."I hate to tell you my friend, but...."...I discussed this with Coach Thig"....."The scouts I talk to, all the time..."

Yes. I realize that he works with young guys in 7 on 7 and other events, but I have an idea the conversations he has probably are a little different than what he is letting on.

I believe it was Butelli (sp?) he said he had discussed with Thig about his needing to play more physical/taking plays off. Something along those lines. A week or so later, UT accepts his commitment.

My guess is they stand there and politely listen, thinking the whole time they wish they weren't there.

I could probably accept most of that, if it wasn't for the anal way he posts.

JMO though. So I just don't pay attention to him anymore.

In what is becoming a pass heavy league Secondary is at a premium. If there is a top corner available with shutdown capability teams are going to snatch them up early in draft.

Bituli WAS a warning sign "my friend". :wink2: he always came across level headed (if a tad enthusiastic) before that butthurt crusade. I can understand not being personally impressed with a prospect, but to use his platform of working with prospects to sully a prospect he never WORKED WITH? Low rent. And now trying to paint himself as having greater insight because of some mystery "NFL scout" crapping all over what we see with our own eyes. He should take his TALENTS elsewhere. :glare:

Yep. I like getting information as much as the next guy. I don't like getting information enough to have to wade through that crap though. He could be 100% legit and right and it would make no difference to me. I don't want his info that badly.

My personal opinion is, his information is more ego than fact though.

Poor De1, his shtick if fairly transparent. He is somebody that desperately wants to be "more important" than he is. He is in a position to meet and have conversations with people involved with football at UT and other colleges. This puts him in position to provide some legit info on recruits in middle Tennessee. However, he is hurt that those coaches do not hold is opinion in higher regard and feels slighted. Runs on this message board to stroke his ego. Posters on here certainly appreciate legitimate bits of news concerning recruiting. However, the opinions that De1 keeps pushing reek of ego and frail emotions. Feel bad for him.

Not sure I completely agree, but that'd be fine with me. It'd be an incentive to stay another year. 2016 defense will be special.

Except for the fact Cam is 19th on Mel Kiper's big board. No matter how much you try to downplay Cam, he won't be back next year. Get over it.

Yep and kiper takes what he hears from multiple scouts, looks for himself then forms own opinion. So I'm sure even though he is def wrong at times he has probably heard enough from people to put Sutton there

And deCon, listed Fuller in front of Cam? No freaking way. Yeah he has the last name and bros in the NFL but OSU WR Thomas torched him over and over.....and over. Yes Thomas probably a first round WR but I've seen Cam lockdown like guys like him.
I wish Cam followed the best WR all over the field but the coaches keep on the same side for some dumbass reason. He would be above everyone but maybe VH3 and AJ, lot of people like AJ for his return game. Well guess what, our boy Cam makes things happen in the return game too. I'd take Cam all day, even if I was a Trojan fan.
