'15 JUCO RB Alvin Kamara (UT commit 6/21/14)

Idk when this was updated but Kamara is now a 5* and #1 overall juco player on 247, not the composite though. Also if you go by 247 and not the composite we have the the number 2 class and the most 5* commits with 4

During the local news sports segment last night on Knoxville's WBIR, they showed some highlights of Alvin from JC games. Some of the quickest feet I have ever seen. Can't wait to see him this fall.

instant impact barring injury

Agree! The highlights they showed were from the sideline and not those typical Hudl highlights from the press box. I looked on their site and couldn't find them but it was really impressive.

Looking for this highlight ?
OFF. CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE YEAR - Alvin Kamara highlights

Fits our system perfectly.. Home run threat whenever he touches the ball and will run over a defensive back if need be. Great compliment to Hurd.. The rushing offense next year is going to be epic. :loco:

Can anyone show me how to pull up the non-composite rankings?

My prediction for him is: 500-550 yds rushing 175-200 yds receiving and 3-4 tds this year for him. He will have more touches overall than lane did this past year I'll say about 125 and Hurd will get about 225 assuming both are heathy at least 90% of the year. RDA4 will be one of our KRs and get about 50-75 offensive touches, but that number will skyrocket of JH or AK get hurt.

I know that looks like a bunch of touches, especially when you factor in Dobbs runs and sweeps, but I truly do think we'll be an extremely run heavy team next year. I know we probably have the WR corps in the SEC, but I still get the feeling the coaches might question Dobbs accuracy as a passer. So I think the coaches are gonna put the game in the RBs hands, unlike what most national writers think who are saying Dobbs as a heisman candidate and stuff.

I hope he runs for at least 800 yards. He should definitely be around there. 2 RBs both should be around 1,000

If we even get 1000 total yards out of him and Hurd this year we probably will win at least 9 regular season games, and Im positive and I just don't see that happening. With our OL, though I think they'll be improved, I don't think that they'll be good enough yet to support two 1000 yd running backs. I do think hurd will get about 1200 total though.

Kamara is a stud, but he's still a new comer. I mean CP was the most freakish juco many of us have ever seen, and even he barely got 1000 rush/receiving yards.
