'15 KY RB Damien Harris

Kentucky has pretty good backs right now also. Doesn't matter to me where he goes, looks like we will either face him or someone who is better. I guess if he goes to Kentucky there is a chance he will help them knock off some other East teams and could elevate us in the East.

He's the best player to come out of Kentucky in 20 years, with the hype of a Tim Couch or Michael Bush. He can play.

Nice game in the UnderArmour AA game...110 yards and a TD.

He'll be third team at best for Bama IMO...no knock for him of course...at Kentucky he'd be a force to deal with...lots of carries...lots of damage.

Don't know how true this will be. We had four guys with over 300 yards rushing, 5 if you add Towles. We have depth enough he will not need to be a three down back at all.

Not sure what to think about him now. Think he's a slight Bama lean, because of how we ended the season and some of the offensive struggles. He moved his decision back a few times and has clearly gone back and forth. I don't really get a strong UK vibe like some instate kids have. Right now I'd say 60/40 Bama leads.

Commit to Bama just now.

Can't blame him at all. He would have helped a ton, but it is what it is. He will have a good career at Bama and learn from the best.

Best of luck to him.

I hope not. Anyone who followed the whole process should have known his family weren't big UK fans and his mother didn't care if he left the state. I think the only thing that let UK be in this was the fact Harris felt pressure from his friends and school. BBN should be happy we finished with a top 30 class. I'm sure some will be mad at him, but he made the safe choice for his football career.

The rich get richer though :thud:

Hard for me to feel bad since y'all have signed like 80 percent 5*s in basketball over the past 5 years

A sport the rest of SEC could care less about nowadays...

Can't blame them though. Hurts like hell to lose those blue chip instate kids.

Hurts more for us because we pretty much never produce them. Bama and UT and the rest of the SEC can handle a few misses of it's best instate players, UK cant. We're probably the worst state for talent in the entire league, other than possibly Mizzou, which overachieves because it has great coaches. For example...TN had 10 four stars+ in 2015 and got 3 of them. We've only had 11 four stars in the last four years or so combined :banghead2: UK doesn't produce enough talent to be allowed to miss. If we cant control our state and shut out other SEC schools we will never amount to anything in the sport. We'd better pray our Ohio pipeline maintains, because other than that our recruiting is non-existent.

Anyway, not gonna prolong the speak in this thread. What's done is done and I, and other UK fans need to move forward to the next year. I'm butthurt right now lol and throwing stats that depress me even more sucks. Good luck Damien, but wish you had been our hero :cray:

/end rant
