Thats a solid list.
but folks like Brian Williams and Steven Pearl shouldnt be on the team. IMO. Williams is a feel good story so he gets a semi pass but Pearl just plain stinks. I guess he gets a daddy pass. right?
Honestly, this game has to be kind of troubling to UNC. They couldn't shut down an offense they had a massive size advantage over and turned the ball over several times. Washington doesn't have that size disadvantage and they're a good enough defensive team.

This doesn't trouble me in the least. This team plays sloppy even in competitive games. In a game where there is clearly no danger of losing, they're going to play really sloppy. That's something that Roy is going to have to beat out of them over the offseason. For now, it gives Roy something to criticize them about so they keep their focus for the next game.
I'm back and forth on Steven Pearl. He's not a good player, but he'll get the job done a lot of times. Taking charges and diving for balls. He just isn't very talented. If you gave his mentality to a quality player, it would do wonders. A lot of Tennessee players seem lethargic.
Take age into the equation too. Its really not an excuse but it is a factor.
I know. That's why I said that Roy needs to beat this out of these guys over the offseason.
I think it will be interesting to see what Barnes and Henson decide to do at the end of the season. If they both come back (something that I feel is highly unlikely), Carolina will be unbelievably tough next year. I think that both of them would improve dramatically if they came back for another year, but I'm not certain that will mean enough to them to prevent them from chasing the almighty dollar.
Barnes wants a business degree and told Roy personally he would stay four years to pick up Golf.
Stretch is a different story. We have had bad luck in recent years with bigs ie- Ed Davis, Marvin Williams) would certainly surprise me if he left but I wouldnt cry about it.... Ok, I would..:cray:
The simple fact of the matter is that Henson has unbelievable upside, but he is NOT EVEN CLOSE to realizing his potential. He needs to get much stronger, more coordinated and more skilled before he tries to take his game to the NBA or he is going to be a train wreck at the next level IMO. Having said that, I would be surprised if he returns for next season.
That's great news regarding Barnes. I hadn't hear that. If he really does stay all four years, he's going to be amazing. It's been a night and day difference in him basically since Larry Drew II walked out on the team. What a godsend that was!
18 (mostly unforced) turnovers. 18 (making only 3) three point attempts. Not a good recipe going forward. Doesn't bode well for a potential match-up with Syracuse, provided each reach the Sweet 16. Syracuse with the 2-3 zone is one of the worst pairings for this UNC team. I was afraid of this possibility prior to the bracket being announced.

Henson's reaction after he got elbowed was priceless. Possibly up for an Oscar. Hilarious.

He's 6'10" and a buck-sixty five. C' mon! I agree, somewhat. I think the tech was undeserved, but the elbow was legit. Also, your team takes the cake for flopping, historically. Here are your rocks, Glass House inhabitant.
