Mizzou was a flash in the pan. Overachieved during the worst year the SEC East has had in a long while. Out of the past three recruiting classes they haven't ranked higher than 34th. That won't fly in the long term.

Mizzou is going to take a bigger step back this year than most expect. They lost a fair amount of talent both on offense & defense. Mauk may be a solid QB, but he doesn't have nearly as many playmakers this season.

Dooley landed Rogers, Hunter, CP, Richardson, McCullers, Randolph. Doesn't mean he can recruit. Plus that Missouri list certainly aren't world beaters.
