I thought about that myself with Martin but then remembered they included McKenzie in their rankings for DT. We'll see.

Good point. Maybe they don't want to blow McKenzie's moment, but with the comments they have released from Martin's coach in Oklahoma, there is really no surprise to keep secret.

If VT likes him, then I like him. They've had some great DB's come through there.

Didn't someone say that they thought Mook has been on top of our Cb board for a while?

“I plan to make it (to Tennessee) sometime this summer,” he said. “I’m not sure exactly when I’ll get down there, though. I talk to (defensive backs) coach*(Willie) Martinezoften.

“They’re just eager for me to get down there. They believe that, if I come down there and take a visit, I’ll fall in love with the program. They talked to me about their secondary. We just had (Vols freshman cornerback)Emmanuel Moseley*from Greensboro come down there, so I talk to him pretty often.”

Reynolds said he attended the same high school as Moseley during his freshman year.

“We had grown up together. We’re from the same city, played together,” Reynolds said. “He said he likes it a lot (at Tennessee). Personally, I think it’s a really good fit for him. I’m excited for him. I talked to the coaches, and they love the guy.

“He’s just excited for me to come down and take a visit — not only to hang out with the football program, but to hang out with him, also.”

Reynolds said he visited Tennessee last year for one of its camps, and he’s interested in the Vols because of “the big-time football and the history” of the program.

“The facilities are nice, and it’s the SEC,” he said. “I’m just ready to get down there and see what Tennessee’s all about. The stadium was huge. We did some of the one-on-ones (at the camp) in Neyland Stadium. I just liked the atmosphere. I can only imagine how it is when fans are there. The facilities were tremendous.”

But Reynolds, who’s planning to be an early enrollee, said he’s set on Virginia Tech for now, in part because of the opportunity to play for Hokies defensive coordinator*Bud Foster.

“I think he was ranked as the number-two defensive coordinator, so being in a program with him helps a lot of defensive positions at Virginia Tech, and that’s what I like about them,” Reynolds said. “I feel like I would fit into that program. Plans to visit either next month or early August.

Elite CB & EE. Would be a huge win, need to impress this summer & get him back for an OV during a home game.

How would you not want to play opposite Sutton/Ev Berry w/ TKjr/McDowell/Payne in middle!!

Greensboro, NC (Northern Guilford) 2015 Virginia Tech cornerback commit Mook Reynolds has been open to other programs for several months. The four-star recruit added offers from Michigan and others since opening his recruitment.

"I'm thinking about taking official visits this fall to Michigan, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, and maybe Georgia."

Reynolds said that Virginia Tech and Michigan are the two schools recruiting him the hardest.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound cornerback had a good performance at Nike's The Opening earlier this month. He's ranked No. 210 in the 2015 Top247.
