"The atmosphere and the tradition they have there," Roseboro answered when asked about the Vols Wednesday at the Under Armour underclassmen combine registration. "Their fans are dedicated and loyal to the program and I really respect that."

On Coach Elder...

"He talks about coming in early and playing early and helping big time," Roseboro said. "He talks about coming in and completing the 2015 class and help get the 2015 class rolling. "Since I'm graduating early and enrolling early it would help me big time if I want to play early."

Even though he's already visited Knoxville numerous times he also plans to see the Vols a lot in the coming months. "I will probably space them out because I want to start evaluating schools this spring but I want to get up there three more times," Rosebory offered.

"I really want to get a feel for all the places," Roseboro explained. "North Carolina State, North Carolina, Duke, Michigan, Ohio State and Michigan State." "I'm looking at their coaching staff and how they treat their players. Do they care about their players not only on the field but off the field as well," Roseboro explained. "I want somewhere where I can get a good degree and then be successful when football ends."

I tend to think of him as the Hendrix of the '15 class, so SDE IMO.

He, Butcher, and Phillips would be a good start to our DL class then. Phillips likely ends up inside. Who are the DTs we're really in on in the '15 class?

I'd also bet decent money there will be an unheard of juco DT we take.

Yea this list will be much longer as the year goes on. Would be nice to lock one or two quality guys up early for a change.

Hopefully we can pull at least one of those guys to go with Phillips.

I know it's early to predict, but from the current names I'm hoping for McKenzie and one of Tuttle or Settle plus whatever JUCO or other names we will be looking to add. I'm hoping for some elite in this DT class.

It would definitely be nice. I love our DL class, but it seems that our past two classes have had more SDE types that could develop and move inside. We need a true inside guy who can be a difference maker.

I don't mean that as a knock to our current players and commits though. I think Carr/Barnett/Thomas/ could all have very bright futures playing inside. But all will have to develop their bodies to be true a true inside presence.

All very true. I'm ready to start landing these elite elite kids that are born to play DT. Kids like Josh Frazier the red team commit this year, Trenton Thompson next year and Julian Rochester from the '16 class. No developing needed there, plug and play at an elite level, I think we're getting there.

I agree. It will be nice to get to that point in the next few years. Until then, I just hope we're able to develop the kids we have. Many of them are going to have to play earlier and go through trial by fire.

Luckily, I think our staff has done a good job of recruiting competitive guys with winning attitudes. That and discipline can make up for inexperience in many cases.

UNDER ARMOUR COMBINE DEFENSIVE TOP PERFORMERS

DE DARIAN ROSEBORO, LINCOLNTON (N.C.)
Roseboro checked in right around 6-foot-4, 259-pounds with room to add weight to his frame without losing any of his quickness. He is very athletic and gave tackles a hard time with his bull rush. After his performance we know why SEC schools have offered Roseboro this early in the cycle.

“(A commitment will come) in the middle of my season,” he said.* “I am going to have my top five before my senior season and then I’ll narrow it down and take my visits.”“I’ll be looking for a family-like environment, a program that is on the rise that is winning a program that is getting top recruits that is going to help build the 2015 class up.”*
