Offical offer from Tennessee came in today 🍊

Saw him live tonight. First carry was an 80 yard TD run. Had about 150 on 8-10 carries in the first half before game was called at halftime for lightning/mercy at 48-0. The opposition was pretty bad, but he's an incredibly smooth and fluid runner who reads his blocks well, can change direction effortlessly, and outrun everyone on the field once he breaks it. Size-wise, he looks built like Pig Howard, but his running style reminds me of Shady McCoy or Gayle Sayers.

On the other side of the ball, his teammate NT Dexter Lawrence (2016) was just a man among boys. Double and triple teams got pushed back toward the QB all night.

Official stat line was 11 carries for 159 yds and 4 TD in a half.

That said, I'm not sure Cary will win a game this year.

Thanks brother. Yeh surprised at the Imps. saw them scrimmage and they didnt appear that bad. Wake Forest is really good though and cary so vanilla on offense. not sure whsts going on up ther. I know I want Love to be a Vol. we need that speed.

"It's going good. I'm just planning my officials right now and getting ready to make a decision after I take my officials," Love said. "I definitely plan on Tennessee getting one."

"I just like the way coach Jones is handling the program," Love said. "Actually, the trainer at my school went to Tennessee and he's had nothing but good things to say about Tennessee and the campus and when I went up there I saw a lot of the things he was talking about. That, mixed with the coaching staff - coach Gillespie is really cool and down and you can talk to him about anything. All that put together is what I enjoy about the school."

With two commitments from North Carolina already in the class of 2015 and two in the class of 2016, Love admits there's some orange bleeding across the Appalachian Mountains into the Tar Heel State and it's hard not to notice.

"I would say that. Tennessee is starting to make an impact in my state for sure. Just looking at their recruiting, for sure," Love said. "I feel like it's the coaches and the way they recruit as well as it's the SEC and it's big-time football and the campus is beautiful and the people there are down to earth and it's pretty close to home in the grand scheme of thing."

Love said once he takes his official visits he will sit down and figure out where he wants to end up.

"The school I'll commit to be will be the right place for me, school-wise, education-wise, really, and the environment as well."
