'15 NC RB Bryce Love

I am telling ya guys Love is not big enough. I read someone saying he is bigger this year and is breaking tackles. Well i would have to see it cause all i see in his Jr video is Slot WR! Thats where he should be playing in college. NOT RB!

I personally have had enough of the fast go down over a blade of grass RBs. DBs in the SEC are to fast these days so if these fast RBs that cannot break a tackle go no where!
Everyone kept saying Devrin Young would break one some day and leave everyone. But as you have noticed they catch him easily!

Now Vaughn and Frazier have the qualities i am talking about for RB. Both have the size and tackle breaking ablitity we are looking for. And Rocky Reid has the total package my friends. He already has the height/weight/speed and breaks tackles all the time. He has it all. He has not broken the state record by accident! It takes a special kind of RB to do that.

Make it stop...

I see nothing in Love's game that says "scat back" other than his size.

Watch his senior highlight film. He lowers his shoulder and picks up yardage after contact. Deceptively strong for a smaller back.

On a side note...

Fortenberry says UT and Stanford are his unofficial top 2 with VaTech hanging around.

I like our chances if we push hard.

I can't imagine they wouldn't push hard for him. He's big-time, National Top 100 type guy and you have to like his pass catching ability out of the backfield as well. As I've said before I think he could make a hell of a slot receiver if need be.

Pass catching was supposedly one of his weak spots at the five star challenge. He only had six receptions his junior year and only two his sophomore year.

I don't where this talk of him being a slot receiver is coming from. It is likely being based on his size and not his actual skill set.

Maybe he can flex out there every once in a while, but Love is tailback all the way. And a really good one at that.

I think he's a tailback all the way as well. But he's someone I think you could line up in the slot from time to time and run some of the plays they run with Pig on the jet sweep, etc...He has the type of elusiveness and quickness. He and Kamara would be a hell of a RB haul.

I would agree with that.

I just don't think he's a guy you want to send on a lot of pass routes during a game. I think he could, however, be very effective in the screen game.

Young isn't a national record holding sprinting. Love is. Don't try to compare the two. I like Young, but love is on another level.

Think Rainey/Demps at UF. Guy would be a great home run threat at RB and he could do KR/PR when Evan Berry goes full time on D.

I remember Florida doing ok with smaller running backs with world class speed such as Jeff Demps and Chris Rainey

According to wiki, Love's fastest recorded 100M time is 10.68. He ran a 11.6 at the age of 12 which is stupid and scary, kids shouldn't be that fast. Then at 14 he ran a 10.72. Evan Berry ran a 10.57 last yr. On Vic's Hudle page it says 10.68, so I think it's fair to assume Evan beats Vic. Tossup between Love & Berry.
