'15 NC RB Bryce Love

You find me 100 J. Hurds and I'll personally devise a master scheme for you to meet Kate Upton without Justin Verlander being there...:boobies:

So your saying that no other College can find another RB like Hurd in the same year? Really?

"For the 2012-13 school year, Division I contains 340 of the NCAA's 1,066 member institutions, with 126 in FBS, 122 in FCS, and 98 in NFS."

Guys give me a break. You can bet your a$$ that out of 340 D1 schools many of those schools got a RB just like Hurd (big and fast).

And then you have RBs that are never seen or heard about. Those who slip through the cracks and never get recruited. And if you think that does not happen you need to quit smoking that stuff.

And on the subject of "Change of Pace RB". Why would you need a small "Change of Pace RB" if I have a Big "Change of Pace RB"? You cannot tell me there is no big fast RB's out there. So my question is still why settle for a small fast RB when we could recruit a Big Fast RB?

And hey dont get me wrong. There are plenty of Small fast RB's that can break tackles. There out there and I have no problem taking one. Bussey is a prime example of that. And I would take one of these RB's in a heart beat. But if I am the coach I have to see him doing that in HS. 99% of the time if a RB is not breaking tackles in HS he will not be breaking them in college!

1) We get it, you like big running backs. You've made it abundantly clear in numerous posts.

2) If you think a RB like Jalen Hurd is common then you don't know anything about football. This kid is 230 pounds and is the fastest player on our team in a straight line. The whole country is watching with amazement at what hes done behind a crap-tastic offensive line, as a true freshman, in the toughest conference in football. If you think that players like that are "common", then you just aren't paying attention.

3) Do you not notice that teams like Bama and LSU , have several RBs with different skill sets? Its called a change of pace and its effective more often than not. You might watch some old USC tape from ten years ago, and remember that Reggie Bush won the Heisman, not LenDale White.

Unlike Butch, you don't get it.

Two words, Travis Stephens.

Take the best RBs. I don't give a damn if they're big, smaller, etc. Take the kids you think have the most potential and the staff seems to think Love is one guy that fits the bill.

Not sure if you're serious...

Per Hubbs

With Love, we were told late this week that the Stanford visit was good and there is certainly a lot to like, but distance may end up playing a bigger factor in Love's decision.

Love is scheduled to take official visits to both Stanford and Tennessee once his season is completed.

With the prominent role Pig has played this year and last I can see why coaches might lean towards a Love over a Reid. Although Pig is more of a reciever his primary role of shifty burner is one the staff want and need to replace. Love makes total sense in that regard and very well would prosper. We shall see.
