I can't wait for Butch to finish games this year. Look at what he did to Purple Vandy. When he put Dormady in he kept throwing the ball. He learned from his mistakes. Even the announcers were debating whether Butch should be throwing the ball late in the game like that. The one guy said that in mop up time you should run the ball and mop up. Butch kept his foot on the gas and he will do the same thing all season this year.

Everybody misses on recruits --- even Lord Saban.

Butch's percentage of failures is fairly low, in my estimation. And he's hit big on some under-the-radar type players that a program like UT must have.

All-in-all, I'm thrilled with his recruiting and talent evaluation. My real concern is winning big games. The jury is still out on that one...

Dude, calm down. This was a POSITIVE thing for Butch. He got it right with Rocky. I was talking about his assertion that Butch misses on recruits. I just said his failure rate is low and I think he does a good job in this area.

Yes, because blowing 4th quarter double digit leads can lead to a lot of negative press. If UT is up by 2 scores or more against one of our rivals, I hope he doesn't let up.

Like Spurrier used to say back in the 90's when asked about running up the score, it's the job of the other teams defense to stop his offense.
