'15 Roster Breakdown

Abernathy played in two games, one carry for negative 5 yards, tell me how this is going to help and why waste a scholarship?:loco:

He won't be on scholarship (according to what I've heard) therefore no initial counter which helps us. I think expecting major contribution at RB or slot would be wishful thinking but the kid should have a nice contribution on special teams for us and he was a nice player there for Butch.

I didn't think he would be on scholarship either since he will be a graduate student. I'm not sure what his major is, but a lot of graduate students get assistantships, which include tuition waiver and a stipend.

1) As the last two posters confirmed, he will not be on scholarship. 2) He carried only one time for -5 yards because he "missed most of the 2014 season with lingering heel/hamstring ailments," according to the article referenced in the previous post. But he was fairly productive at running back during his sophomore and junior years.

Therefore, assuming he is healthy, please tell me, Winchester Vol, what's so :loco: about the possibility of his providing a little depth at running back next year?

Anybody have any recent information on Ralph David Abernathy IV's transfer from Cincinnati? Is he on campus and practicing with the team this spring or is he not going to be here until fall camp?

He'll be here in the Summer according to Fortenberry. I believe he said at the end of May.

This is an excel spreadsheet of what the 2014 Roster looks like alongside the commitments from the 2015 Class. It's never too early to start on '15. I'll keep it updated if there is enough interest.
