ha screw legally, lets put on some lil wayne, through 10 lbs of weed on the fire by the rock and shoot our guns off. lol, I know not what you were expecting from me.

I'm ridiculously proud of the players and coaching staff for this win. This is a fantastic storyline, amidst all of the negativity and as the underdog we are able to pull out a win against the number one team in the country at home. Thompson Boling Arena was rocking and the players all stepped up and overachieved as they did against Charlotte. At one point in the game we had 3 walk-ons in the game, one freshman, and one sophomore. Everyone that played contributed positively. Bobby Maze was an absolute beast out there and was the best PG on the floor tonight in my opinion. Despite the foul trouble, which I thought would be our undoing before the game, guys still stepped up and made plays. I thought we were going to end up losing it at the end there but then Mcbee(freshman walk-on) stepped up and hit the shot of his life. We almost lost that one and it would've been because of our free throw shooting, we managed to miss 14 free throws in this one.

Overall though, fantastic game. This is Top 3 among the wins during Bruce Pearl's tenure. Bruce seems to be able to do more with less. This team overachieves and plays with the energy and hustle we've been missing since we guys like Chris Lofton and Jajuan Smith. I don't know if it's chemistry or them coming together due to the situation we've had. I don't know, hopefully they keep it up. If we can take out Kansas we should be able to compete with a fair amount of teams.

Kansas overall, really didn't do that much for me. They seemed to have good spacing and ball movement, but really couldn't do that much offensively. Why they didn't go inside to Aldrich is beyond me, he had a ridiculous height advantage half the time. Sherron Collins was a beast as expected. Overall, I don't think Kansas played very well, the gameplan just wasn't there. Just my thoughts. Good luck the rest of the season. You guys will be just fine. You are loaded with talent and it's still early.

The game atmosphere was phenomenal. As was the post game and walk back to the car.

Great post. Wish I had been there.....but I enjoyed every minute of the game tremendously....what a game!

I want to know how we do better with blue collar guys than with high school phenoms. The blue collar guys have a good attitude already instilled in them and it shows in wins like tonight. Kenny Hall is going to be goooooooood

I have never been more proud of this basketball team and our players. Just wanted to give a HELL YEAH!!!! to Bruce/players and coaching staff. That's how you do it boys! Best Tennessee basketball play/effort I've seen in a long long time.
