#15 Texas A&M @ #1 Alabama

I'm willing to let Tennessee have our OC, if that would help your coaching search.

Looks to me like he had the right plays called that last series when it was 1st and Goal..................... WTH? He never tried to run(Macarrons scramble doesn't count). I am sick of hearing about how good the offensive line is. They had a chance to prove themselves and Nussmier never tried to run????? I wish they had gotten Vinnie when Sal left also.

We ran well between the tackles all game. Then we get it 1st and goal at the 6 and the only called run is a stretch play to the short side of the field. Coaching malpractice.

I thought Bama got decisively beat two weeks in a row, they were fortunate enough to bend and not break both weeks on D.

Although Bama held TAM to just 9 points after Q1, I never really felt they could stop them. I have been saying it for a few weeks now, Oregon can beat Bama. Too much size on the Bama D in my opinion. LSU plays with an undersized D and quicker personnel which helped them last year against Oregon and this year against TAM.

Great game by TAM to go into their house and win!

I personally hate this. I love having an SEC team in the NC. Now we'll have to endure ESPN salivate over Oregon vs Kansas State (probably). Everyone who really knows football knows the SEC is the premier conference and we may beat ourselves up during the regular season. I was hoping we'd make it 8 in a row. We still may, but the chances are against us.

On another theme of mine....see what a running QB (like aTm) can do for you that a "pro-style" can't? Ditch the pro-style s--t and include your QB as a running threat in your offense.
I'd pull for the SEC except for Bamer and their low-class inbred fans. Only fanbase I know of that chants a obnoxious taunt at their opponents after a loss. I say ****'EM. Hope they lose every game they play, regardless if it's a conference team or not.

Didnt a&m score 20 in the first?

Yeah, Bama held them to 9 points after the first. However, I didn't feel like they really ever stopped them. Oregon will have a field day on Bama's D I think if it comes down to that.

Oh, sorry. I mis-read your post. I thought you said they scored 9 in the first.

Thats my ky reading skills right there.:banghead2:

No problem. :hi:

Bama's D is good but it's not built for defending that at all.

Johnny football is totally awesome!! Even If he has an off so and jr years he has proven to have all the skills. he can pass, read d, scramble, lead, etc. Hereminds me of a modern day john elway as far as ability.

Manziel reminds me of Doug Flutie. He has all the tools, just short.

He's much shiftier. Kid is legit - this year at least.

TAMU roughed up Bama too - towards the end, several Bama players were feeling the pain.

I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed it too. Not only getting beat, but getting beat on their field infront of the bama faithful. The look of shock----priceless.

To me he plays like Doug Flutie.

Bama never made the adjustments IMHO that Florida and LSU did. It's actually fairly easy to contain him if you put athletes on the field that have quickness. LSU basically restored to going to the 3-4, with Mingo and Montgomery on the edges with only really one true DL Logan/Johnson playing the nose. What LSU did was then blitz the CBs for quickness.... usually their were 6-7 guys on D that could fly.

After LSU made the adjust after the first quarter he was basically non-effective. Great player though and played one hellva a game vs. Bama.

This is a case where the size of Bama's D really hurt them. If Bama does get matched up with Oregon, they are going to have to adjust, I don't know if they have DL with as much quickness that is needed against an offense like that.
