Selling him on being the next Honey Badger but his ass will ride the pine while he's there. Better them than us. #Didn'tWantAnyways

The final factors for me were the education, another place that I can call home and as much playing time as I can get," Amadi told TigerBait.com.

"Coach Chavis was recruiting me very hard and he is a very good guy. I have always watched him coach even when he was at Tennessee. He and I had a strong connection and he likes the way I play, especially the way I return kicks and everything."

Amadi (5-9, 175) will graduate from high school at mid-term and enroll at LSU in mid-January.

Les Miles was ecstatic to hear the news on Amadi's decision.

"He is very excited and he said he can't wait to coach me," Amadi said. "He said he was going to try and get me No.7 which is a great number at LSU."

Hope he get the crabs

"coach Chavis was recruiting me very Hard" .... at the very end when LSU decided to come in at the last minute.... good luck to him-- he will probably end up like Otha Peters and Dalton Santos, really enjoyed watching them develop last night in the bowl game... wait....nevermind.....

But he also said this too

Amadi says he is trying to convince defensive end Kyle Phillips of Nashville-Hillsboro to join him in Baton Rouge as well as his former teammate cornerback Justin Martin who is at NE Oklahoma A&M Junior College.

"I am going to do my best to recruit them but you know there is so much i can do," he said

I'm just not convinced that Kyle Phillips to LSU is a done deal. Amadi's wishful thinking does not a done deal make.

I'd rather go into other states and get highly rated talent then over value kids in tn because they are in tn. College is about becoming a man and doing something independently. I don't understand why most of these kids even play for the instate schools to be honest.

Probably because that is who you most likely grew up watching & your heart bleeds the color of YOUR school!?!

Phillips is going to LSU. Butch is about as good at sealing the border as Obama is.

Wow!!! Butch has done great in the state and has done excellent in other states. We will never ever and I mean ever get every top instate prospect, there isn't a program in the country that can do that.

The great news is that Butch is good enough to go into other people's back yards and snatch out top tallent that fits our needs.

Yes, I am going to be that guy. No wonder your like to post ratio isn't so good.

Who cares about everyone in TN if you are getting 5 star defensive tackles from California and North Carolina and 4 star DE's from Georgia? They all play on the same field.

Lol SGM overreacting, again.

I never could've seen that.

Ugo will never see the field, and if we sign Phillips and Martin then I'll be glad we didn't waste a scholarship on him. He will never play at LSU. Ever. And all he would've done here is return kicks.
