'15 TN CB Ugo Amadi

You can continue to throw that idea against the wall all you want. Difference is that is just your opinion. What I presented are facts.

Lol. Sure thing 'Close2Hendrix'. Facts aren't exactly a word I would associate with anyone coming out of the Hendrix camp.

So he lied when he said his issue was with the coaches and the way they talked to 'people'. Which means your first hand info may not be accurate either if he has a propensity for not telling the truth. Either way, not the type of player Tennessee needs to build a winner, or any team for that matter.

You think that discredited what I said. lol. That is all tied to same thing. He was not a huge fan of all the coaches during the recruiting process. But he did really like Strip and his uncles really pressured him to play at UT.

So he committed to a team with coaches he didn't like? Makes sense.

Correct. And is now leaving so yeah that makes sense. He really liked his future position coach. Again it was outside influences that led him to UT. He was always hesitant and wanted to go to Missouri. Because he is leaving UT fans want to discredit him because they feel slighted. I am just telling you facts about the situation. The facts do not fit in fans agenda to rip him for being scared of competition so fans like you feel compelled to discredit it. Kind of sad.

Ok so we are supposed to believe he came to UT although he wanted to go to mizzu..and now he has screwed himself, because he can't play for mizzu much less another SEC team for two years.... I am going to go out on a limb and say your getting the new year started with some "close2hendrix" insider e cred.

Yeah look at my posting history. That is definitely what is going on?! This is not new info. I shared this info weeks ago. Again, I am simply sharing facts that some people are interested in. Others only care about the reality they want to paint to make themselves feel better.

Well that sucks for him if true. Should have just gone to mizzu. He will be 21 years old at best after sitting out two years. Do you know if that is indeed where he will be going?

What's sad is a bunch of make believe nonsense to cover for a kid that is mentally soft as tissue paper. Assuming you even have a direct line to his camp. Then it just becomes sad that we have another 'insider' who fills in all of the blanks in their own imagination and deems them facts.

How can you even discredit what he is saying? You can't. To me, he has always been a reasonable poster. Believe it or not, but don't disparage him. My goodness.

It doesn't affect me one way or another. I think it is more of an effort of transposing your feelings with someone you claim you are close to with mine. The only information you shared was that Hendrix and Scott were gone, which could have easily been obtained through any analyst that was close to the program. You made vague references as to the why they were leaving, but nothing concrete until you came up with the above scenario about Hendrix's mean ole uncles that forced him against his wishes to go to UT.

Cool story bro!

So, instead of just saying that he was transferring because he changed his mind about being here or he wanted to be closer to home or with his friends or, heaven forbid, say nothing at all, he chose to disparage the coaches and use them as his reason for leaving. Stand up guy there.

I'm fine with the situation. We honestly probably never would've even pursued Ugo if he wasn't instate, friends with Kyle, and a few other points that I won't go into. Reality is he has ability but his ceiling is pretty low potential wise. I don't hate the kid for what he is saying because I think he is hurt that his in state school really never wanted him.

Lol. Not true in his case. First hand info in him. Look truth is he really wanted to go to Missouri in the first place. His two uncles were really the only reason he did not flip to Missouri. He was just never happy at UT and it had nothing to do with playing time. If he had played tons of snaps this season, he would still be leaving.

I think we all can agree that the decision he made to leave probably cost him a 50k job with TNV and that TNV takes recruiting personally

If you were a recruit, wouldn't you like to go to colleges across the country for free? I know I'd take all the visits I could.

I am not going to claim to know his mental makeup. You actually thinking you have any idea what his mental strength is based off info you read on a message board is good stuff. lmao. Not saying that I am surprised. It's what many idiots on here do. Take small pieces of information and use it to make ridiculous assessments of all kinds of different things that they in all honesty know almost nothing about. He might be mental soft. Neither of us know that. I do know facts about him comming to and leaving UT. That is all. Now go and continue to think what you need to about departing players to make yourself feel better about yourself. I will say you expert opinion in this matter had dampened my enthusiasm about our JUCO RB that left Alabama because I guess he was mentally soft. Waste of scholarship I suppose.

You could re-post the information from now until the end of time but like others during the whole Gruden "saga" you are full of crap

No, he left because of a lack of playing time and he may be soft but I doubt he left "because he really didn't want to go there in the first place but really liked his position coach".

I know. I am with you. I have come around. Leaving after freshman year can only be explained as being soft and mentally weak. Facts be damned! That is why I am upset we took that Kamara kid that left Alabama after his freshman season. Why are we wasting a scholarship on somebody like him who is soft and weak? I am going to email CBJ about pulling his scholarship. You want me to add your signature with mine?

Thanks for instructing me to go do something that I barely think about throughout the course of my day. I'm on the board to discuss UT football, because I love the sport. Loved playing it. Love watching it. Love talking about it. And that's what the message boards are for. We discuss our thoughts and opinions on players, the team, the program, etc. based on information provided by credible sources. I think the issue is that your 'information' doesn't mesh with what he said. And you are upset that none of what you are suggesting reconciles with that. Maybe he's a flaky kid looking for various reasons as to why he didn't want to be here. Maybe your full of it and are making it up as you go. Either way, I don't care. He's afterthought at this point anyways.

These little 'hair pulling' fights over the validity of 'inside info' really get old...

Who gives a F about his "mental makeup"? He's a 5'8" DB. I know there are a few that are that small who are successful BUT that's more the exception instead of the rule. I don't mind the risk usually but this year we're way too short on space for a project player that will most likely be a bust.
