Just looked at the other two in depth and Ordway is easily No.1. IMO
Richmond is a very good prospect too.
Not as high on Phillips as some people are.
But Ordway and Richmond are two very good prospects.
You guys are de-valuing Phillips, IMO. Extremely solid DE.
1. Richmond
2. Phillips
3. Jennings
4. Ordway
5. Jack Jones
6. McGraw
7. Jefferson
8. Jackson Harris
9. Sheffield
10. Josh Smith
'14 instate class
1. Hurd
2. Malone
3. TK
4. Gaulden
5. Barnett
6. Bars
7. Vic
8. Sawyers
9. Mosley
10. Emmanuel Smith
All JMO.
Edit: I haven't even saw one of those guys play live. I'm basing that off Hudl film and other major offers.
Phillips doesn't just explode on film like I expect an elite guy to do at his position. He does make the big hits for a guy with his size should make. More of a wrestler at the position. Ordway and Richmond do that as soon as you look at them. Ordway is my pick due to his athleticism and potential at the next level. Jennings is a good prospect but is he for sure at QB? We don't know that. And he's not a better DB prospect than Ordway.

I still think Ordway is pretty raw at the position. He's playing off his athleticism right now. I think Cam has serious ball skills and probably has the highest ceiling of anybody instate. I think he has quite a few technical flaws that need to get worked out.
Jennings, IMO, is all about potential. 1st year at QB and he put up pretty good numbers. Jennings also gives you versatility on defense. I think he could be a heavy hitter coming down from the safety position.
Both guys are complete playmakers. I give the edge to Jennings, because, at this point, I think he's farther along than Cam.
Here's the thing with Cam, he's got the athleticism that makes certain technical flaws not matter. His potential at the next level is silly good and about at the level of Janzen Jackson athletically. That's why I'm projecting him so high. His intangibles are there too. His speed is just ridiculous though and will make him very tough to beat after CWM gets finished with him. He's not a hard prospect to mold at all into what you want at the position.
