'15 TN DT/OL Zach Stewart (UT Signee 2/4/15)

Are we his only offer at this point? Just curious

Might be his only offer.

The knock against him is he plays small school football. Won't be on many radars.

The plus's are: Great family/community, church, GPA, size, strength and especially....work ethic! Will not outwork this kid!

He choose to play high school football as an 8th grader and has won several lineman awards at football camps in Oklahoma and South Carolina against national competition.

If he kills it....They will come.

First for those of you that don't know, the way the rules work in TN for middle schoolers playing in high school is that the schools must share a principal. So if you go to two separate buildings for middle/high school (or most often k-8 and high now) then usually you can't do it. I've read that in baseball and basketball in KY they even let some 7th graders play with special permission, but not football, and the best "talent" I ever played against in high school was a starter in 8th grade for MC kentucky.

MC = McCreary County?

If you're talking about basketball I wonder if you're referring to Aaron Watts?

I remember this kid when he was young. Great kid from a great family. I graduated from CHS and we have had some great talent come through that havent got the attention they deserved. Its great to see poeple taking notice of a great player from a great community. Congratulations to Zach, his family, and his school.

Oh Zach is getting old how old is he 17, boy he is getting old.:)

Biggest plus to me: said he is a big Vols fan. Homegrown linemen defend Neyland at a whole different level. It is personal. :)

I don't get why anybody questions Stripling. He's been putting guys into the NFL for atleast 20 years. He was at Michigan before Rich Rod cleaned house. Butch picked him up at CMU, and he knew he had a great one.

If he keeps winning awards at lineman camps all over the country I'm pretty sure he will be on peoples radar:crazy:
