Why do we think Drew will flip (other than the visit)? Any inside info? What's going on with OM's class? Any other recruiting info I need to know? (All responses welcome )

Been reflecting on the Drew Richmond recruitment and pondering some things that may need to be considered. Ole Miss is an elite program still needing depth. With our first team talent we were a legitimate national championship contender. Even with our injury attrition, we still won nine games and had victories over top twenty teams. Next year we will add more depth and be in much better shape and finish stronger. UT is far away from his home and the program is always looking at next year. They haven't arrived and they way they're over-signing and having people leave, they may never arrive. A team needs continuity and caring coaches. Tennessee may alway be waiting on next year. Ole Miss is continuing to build something special. Should Drew Richmond decide to sign with us, he'll be part of it. If not, he'll miss out. We will continue to be an elite program and do hope he's with us.

First off...elite program? Ole Miss? ...stop it.

Second, a virtual definition of an elite team requires talented depth which he admits they don't have, discussion over.

Third and final, they're freakin 24-15, average record of 8-5 over the last 3 years and literally haven't won ANY type of championship since the 1960s.....jiminy Christmas. How the hell is that remotely elite?? Shades of Vandy delusion with this one.

Just got back from Dallas my self.Had to inform a couple of those Texans we are the real UT.If they give you any lip tell them we were a university 50 years before they were a state.

I actually haven't had to educate many of the Texas fans that much down here in Houston.
