'15 VA ATH Jaason Lewis

Give me Lewis, an OT, Newsome and I'm beyond pumped with the class. I really hope we can get Lewis. He has been one of the ATH I want to sign most. Just tons of potential. I really thought he would be a Vol this time last year.

Watch Travis Henry's run at the 25:30 mark. I was in the student section that day, and this was right in front of me. At the time, it was probably the best stuff arm I had seen.

Yeah...I always said Henry had a wicked stiff arm. I saw him do that over and over while at UT. Wish he could get with Hurd and work on that technique, cause I saw Hurd miss quite a few stiff-arms this season, and never really use it effectively. Had one good one in the bowl game, but once he gets that move down, he's going to break a LOT more big runs. In fact, I think this is one of the things that separates Gurley from other RB's.

Even when defenses know UGA was going to lean on him, he still manages to have a BIG day. He does that not so much with shiftiness, but he's just hard to bring down. One of his best moves is a good stiff arm, so even if the DB/LB lines up for a good solid shot on him, he makes you miss.

As tall as Hurd is, you would think he'd have a wicked stiff-arm, using that length to keep defenders off of him, but that's one part of his game that needs work, still.

BTW, someone asked earlier when Lewis was scheduled to visit. Just saw on 247 that the date is Jan 30. Just before the Fax Lady sings. Hope we have room and that we blow his socks off, on the visit.

Would make for a sick RB haul

Being a freshman I think it'll catch on. However, this poor Iowa player will get made fun of for a while for it.

I didn't mock anyone. I asked who all of these "insiders" are that said Lewis was a backup plan at the bottom of our recruiting board; which is ridiculous; and I got the name of one poster that gets his info from recruiting sites just like everybody else on this board. Then you decided to weigh in because you are still butthurt because I called you out for bumping threads of players that have no interest in UT because you think it's funny to annoy people who come here for legit info. :nono:

Is this a member of the extended Dooley clan trolling VN? Cause your last 3 posts mocking a legit source and badmouthing a well-liked poster has a strong Dooley stench.

Lewis is a done deal. Write that down.

Twitter rumors that he committed to Florida on his visit, not widespread rumors but from one of their supposed insiders.

Does he just commit everywhere he visits? He seems like a spur of the moment kind of guy

ITG said the were checking on it. Highly doubt it tho.

No flip at this time.

“I’m still Arizona State. I just got to talk to my parents and everything, but I’m going to keep that to myself until whenever. I’m just going to keep it to myself. I don’t know anything getting out there.

“I’m Arizona State until otherwise. I’m not having a big commitment deal or anything. I’m just going to look at everything.”

Lewis’ visit plans remain the same moving forward. It will either be an official visit to Tennessee or Ole Miss on January 30, the weekend before National Signing Day.
