At linebacker, the Vols seemingly would like to add another linebacker or two to go along with Cecil Cherry. Ricky DeBerry is a top target there and he's high on the Vols right now. Look for him to make his way back to Knoxville either in February or March for a junior day.

RICKY DEBERRY DE/LB, 6-2/240, RICHMOND, VA.

REASON FOR THE RANKING: DeBerry already looks the part of a college linebacker although he's just a junior in high school. But, while listed as a linebacker, DeBerry played defensive end a majority of the season for his high school team. Regardless of what level DeBerry plays at in college, he's someone numerous schools want on their defensive unit.

THE SKINNY: Tennessee has been a school after DeBerry for some time and it's paid off as the hybrid linebacker/defensive end as seen the Vols on multiple occasions and seems high on them as does his family. Look for DeBerry to make it down to a junior day in the next few weeks as Tennessee tries to solidify itself as one of his top teams.

Dang lots of people high on the list but I guess that completely normal this early. Cherry, DeBerry, and one more stud and we'll be set at LB next year I think. Any guesses as to who all is at the top of the coaches board at this point?
