wonder what Khalil's commitment will mean for Settle? it always helps the both DT's if you have another stud beside you,you can't double team both of them all the time,especially if you have some beasts on the outside rush to go with them...

im hoping that is the case and maybe, just maybe getting both of these guys may make josh sweat take a long look at UT.....

I think it has been mentioned by one of them that they would love to play together...maybe Settle said that in an interview at some point? Can't remember.

Btw according to my bama friend, Bama Online says that with Bama's DT commitment yesterday, they will likely not push for Settle.

So my bama friend thinks bama is no threat here anymore

This is probably the case. Settle has not been showing interest in UA for a while. I do not even think he has contacted the UA staff since early spring. UA wants 2 DTs in the class at minimum. D Payne(Instate kid) always had one spot.

Right now I think UT lands Settle but your main competition seems to be Clemson. UA swung and miss it appears. He is still a take for UA but the staff taking Morton's commitment points to Settle not being a part of the class so no reason to wait around.

Agreed. If it was just us vs. Clemson for Settle, I'd be on the fence. With Kahlil committing, that gives us a decided edge.

I believe KM's commitment will definitely make a few dominoes fall in recruiting. I think the DT position would be all wrapped up if Settle went ahead an pulled the trigger for UT. It's been a while since UT has picked up a highly rated DTs and it looks as though we may be getting two this year.
