I expect a Vol victory that day. Anything less will be very disappointing.

I know nationally, and even to most Vol fans, it would be a huge upset but I don't see it that way. I think UT will be the better team, better coached, and better prepared for that game. JMO

Here come the "realistic" fans to tell me I'm an idiot...

I'm with ya Ron...the game being in Knoxville is huge imo. I expect to win this one. GBO

They've got a ton of talent and Driskel coming back. Im not as optimistic as alot of guys on here on the Florida game. I think we are still a year away from probably being the best team in the East.

Haha. Did I somehow enter a time machine? It feels like 2012 all over again.

Very predictable Ron.

But at least you always stick to your guns. Consistency is something that can be admired.

I'm on the verge of agreement, but MUST see the lines and QB play before I boast

I'm buying what you're selling but then I do have orange blood flowing through my veins.

I won't show any true optimism until I see us play Oklahoma. I've gotten my hopes up in weeks 1-2 far too many times, only to realize we really weren't that good as the FCS teams made us look.

BUT...that being said, Utah State and Arkansas State are two teams that are pretty fair tests. Definitely not the pushovers Georgia State or Austin Peay were.

However, I think Oklahoma will give us a good benchmark of where we are at least mentally. If we can't hang talent wise, and they start to whoop on us, I'll be interested to see if the fight is still there, or the Dooley mentality has finally gone away.

But hopefully, Oklahoma will be a day we shock the nation and beat or come close to beating a powerhouse Top 10 ranked team.

That game is on my bday. It would be the best present I could receive.

Based off last year, I expect every game at home to be a win or darn close. We haven't shown we can go on the road yet and we're young so I won't expect that. But this team steps it up in Neyland. So I expect a W against Florida.

At home and I think talent is closer to even then it has been in a while, plus this team needs another stepping stone and I think breaking that streak is a good one

Couldn't agree more.

So where are we thinking this guy sits on our 2016 QB board? I haven't checked out any of his video yet, but you have to love the measurables and the way he talks about the process in his interviews. I would guess that Kendall is our number one guy, but I want to hear some more people's input.

I would guess Kendall or Malik Henry would be at the top. This guy is probably up there tho.

Id like to see us take 1 stud per year. I don't mind taking two if we aren't getting a "can't miss" prospect every other year or so.

His film is pretty good imo. I love his measurables and he definitely seems like he's got a good head on his shoulders. I would think he's in the top 3-4 on the board. Well at least he is on mine which doesn't matter much lol.

This would be ideal. QB is the one position where you need that one guy to be "the man."

Yup. And taking multiple QB's can cause log jams or turn away elite QB's in the subsuquent class. I feel like every college coach's ideal situation would involve taking one QB every year so that you can grow guys in your system for a few years before they take the reins.

No doubt...I'm hoping that's exactly what will happen in Knoxville from here on out.

Yeah that is definitely the ideal situation and I'm sure that's the way they would prefer to recruit the position. But to this point we haven't been able to land that top flight/can't miss QB prospect. So I feel like they have been taking multiple guys hoping that one of them pans out. I think that changes starting next year and we land one of the top guys on our board, and hopefully that starts the trend of taking one guy every year.
