The three-star senior cornerback from Osceola High School in Kissimmee, Fla., said he’s currently planning to use his three remaining visits to travel to Florida State the weekend of Jan. 16, Ohio State the weekend of Jan. 23 and Ole Miss the weekend of Jan. 30. But Tennessee recently has moved back into the picture and is hoping to get one of his final visits.

“I was coming back from Kentucky, driving down. I was like, ‘We’re in Tennessee. Might as well swing by Tennessee to see what they’ve got.’ I fell in love with it when I went over there,” he said.

“We were just driving through, and I could see a bridge going over some water. I was like, ‘Man, it’s beautiful.’ Then, we went to the indoor facility, went to all the coaches’ offices, and (I liked) just how everything was set up. Everything that I went to there and looked at was just shocking.”

Holy cow. Real good offer list, and great combo of size and speed of those are correct.

Kid is really underrated. Legit 6'2 with 4.5 speed. Haven't had many chances to see him live but the two times I came away impressed. Especially at IMG 7 on 7 showcase. Kid went up against Drake Davis and Nate Craig in consecutive games and won more than his share of battles. Plays high at times but that kind of expected with an kid his size. Easy fix. One of the coaches from SoFla Elite said if he played at Armwood, IMG or in Hillsborough county, kid would be top 100 player.

Good to know, seems like height is the most consistently overstated stat in hs. Amazing how many 6 footers become 5' 10" at the combine so it's good to know he's 6'2". A lot of tall wide receivers in the conference

How do you play in metro Orlando and go so under the radar? Especially with the season Osceola had. Didn't they win state?

Becker was at practice today in Tampa...


"The Vols had a handful of recruits on hand for the practice. They're able to attend but not speak with Tennessee's staff, per NCAA rules.

Among those spotted on hand were: three-star athlete/defensive back Carlos Becker, who has a strong offer list, and 2017 three-star Juwan Burgess, who also has a stout offer list and is expected to climb in the rankings. 2017 running back Malik Davis also appeared to be on hand."

I do not know how far he lives from Tampa, but the fact that he took time to go is a good sign.
