"Three-star senior cornerback Aaron Robinson of Deerfield Beach (Fla.) Highwill I'mool, a Florida commitment, is ranked the nation's No. 83 cornerback in the 247Sports Composite.
Hes hoping to visit at least one of them next month.
The three-star senior cornerback from Deerfield Beach (Fla.) High School said hes currently scheduled to take an official visit to Tennessee the weekend of Jan. 22, and its definitely a visit I want to take despite his longstanding commitment to the Gators.
Robinson said several schools have been in contact with him, including Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Wisconsin and Syracuse. But he said hes kind of just looking toward Florida and Tennessee at this point, adding that his communication with other teams has kind of died down in recent weeks.
Im kind of just looking toward Florida and Tennessee, so I know theyll definitely get (visits), said Robinson, whos ranked the nations No. 83 cornerback in the 247Sports Composite for the 2016 class.
If anybody else impresses me, I could see myself going someplace else. I want to keep everything open and explore some more. If anything catches my attention, then itll be that. But, as of now, Florida has my attention.
The 6-foot-1, 178-pound Robinson is one of four cornerbacks currently committed to Florida, and he said thats at least part of the reason hes not ready to shut down his recruitment.
The number of recruits at my position was kind of a factor, but I feel like I can outwork anybody, he said. Anywhere I have to go, Im going to have to compete, so I feel like going to Florida, I feel like Im the best DB recruit. If it ends up being Florida, Ill just go up there and work and show my best.
He said he visited Tennessee this summer to attend one of its camps with some of his teammates, earning a scholarship offer from the Vols while he was there, and hes looking forward to making the trip again next month.

Robinson said he hasnt had a lot of contact with Tennessees coaches to this point. But defensive backs coach Willie Martinez stopped at his school to visit with him earlier this month, and he said the Vols have been somewhat trying to build a relationship.
They just really want to set me up an official to get there and show off the campus to me, show off the football facility, Robinson said. Theyve just been telling me that theyre fired up about me, ready to get me up there."

I went up this summer for a camp. I got my offer while I was there. (I liked) how beautiful the facility was. The school, everything about it was nice. They have a nice facility, so thats definitely an eye-catcher. And they were telling me about the academics and how they set the players up to be able to get their degrees and everything. I liked hearing that.
It also doesnt hurt that he could have an opportunity to earn early playing time at Tennessee.
I have looked at the roster and all the other recruits. Its not as bad as Florida, Robinson said. Coach Martinez told me I could come in there and make an impact, so I believe I could go there and make an impact.
But he said theres a reason hes still committed to the Gators, who also will get an official visit from him next month.
The new coaching staff, they make me feel at home, Robinson said. The atmosphere actually feels comfortable. It feels like home. I get along very well with the players and the coaching staff and the other recruits. Everything theyre telling me, I want to hear.
