Prep football: Naples High outslugs Fort Myers in 6A regional semifinal; Charlotte up next
Naples advances. 140+ yards rushing. Issues with cramps for Fils-Aime.
Miami Central shut down Naples' running attack tonight as they prevailed in the 6A semifinal game, 41-27. Fils-Aime was held to 60 yards on 18 carries and had a 67-yard TD reception negated by a penalty.
I like it when a young man starts college (at UT) with a chip on his shoulder already.
Fine example.....
He's too tall to play RB
He's too tall and too skinny for as tall as he is
He runs too straight, gonna get hurt and will be easy to tackle
and my favorite one of all
He's soft
Jalen Hurd says Hi Carlin.....time to make them regret not giving you the ranking you deserve.
Rivals just posted the new four stars (link below) and Carlin isn't on the list. Huge omission, but it doesn't matter. We will be happy with what CFA does in orange no matter what rivals ranks him.

questions about Carlin;s speed held him back. The running back he replaced at Naples also put up massive numbers. He is currently at Akron and having trouble getting playing time.
We looked at Fils-Aime on the field and not just on the stat sheet. Do I think he is a good football player? Yes, I do. I just think he has some shortcoming holding him back. A 5.7 rating is not a slap in the face.
