'16 FL RB Zack Moss

Neither, Dickerson imo
Ideal finish imo... Brown, Kongbo, Dickerson, Warrior Chris Daniels and Byrd all Vol (I know that will not happen, just saying)

I don't think you understood my question. Between Moss and Williams, who would you give a scholly to if there was one left. Dickerson wasn't even an option

You do not understand my answer... there would not be a scenario to take either because I would fill all spots with those players (which ever of those it took to fill spots) :)

Just to play along though, I still say neither, because I would save spot and get 2 top Rb next year and better Wr next year.

"Zack Moss - Moss very much enjoyed his Tennessee visit and they impressed both him and his mother. But, again, the defensive side of the ball is taking priority down the stretch and depending on how things work out there could or could not be room for more offensive weapons. That could also be said for Latrell Williams."

- Fortenberry

Long time no see, Sir Swan. Thanks for the note of sanity. My wishlist... Brown, Kongbo, Dickerson, Warrior and Byrd.

It was a hypothetical scenario but ok. I'm hoping we don't get to that point. Sounding more and more like Warrior Byrd and Kongbo

That scenario I take Moss. Henderson and Callaway in the slot is strong. 4 total WRs is plenty. Take the back.

Agree. WR numbers are looking more favorable with who's on board now. RB numbers will be low if/when JH and AK go next year. Freshmen RBs can come in and play some, but it's nice if you don't have to rely on them.

I just read the reason we were giving Moss consideration was because Joe Young has what could turn out to be a career threatening injury. What happened to him? Didn't realize he was injured.

I hope this kid develops into a great playerr, but do not see why we are pursuing him. We are wasting his time. If anything we need to free up room by greyshirting some guys. Miss wouldn't touch the field this year or get anywhere near it. Would hate for him to count against the numbers. We can get a stud in next year's class.

I was wondering the same thing about Joe Young? What kind of injury does he have??

Williams all day, he can break a game open. I'd save the Moss spot for a 2017 spot if possible.

Agreed. Better options in 2017. There are 3 in state guys we are already in on. Besides, RB is one position you can see a kid come in and make a splash his first year.

If Young cannot play again, we are getting thin at RB.

2016

Hurd
Kamara
Kelly
CFA (true freshman)
Sparks (walk-on)

We could always move someone else to the position, i.e. Berry (?)

If Hurd and Kamara both leave after next year, 2017 is where we hurt the most.

2017

Kelly
CFA
Sparks
And any true freshmen

We could always add a Juco RB next year, but there are no guarantees.

Therefore, this year it would be Moss > Williams.

Danny Parker said during a radio interview his injury is related to a neck and spine injury.

I know it's part of the game but doesn't it seem like we have a few too many of these? McNeil had a scare. Swafford and now maybe Young. I don't remember having this many together in past years unless I missed something

I am actually starting to have question marks about Dave Lawson

Zack is going to announce on NSD..If we miss out on someone I would give the scholy to him or Williams..I think Bailey is Bynum 2.0

I think he's the best we've had since Fulmer's best...and maybe better than that. Our athletes are transformed under him. We blow everything out of proportion IMO.

Completely agree. Our guys are just as big as the other SEC guys now... Glad there are no more phantom sign up sheets for if one has lifted or not for the day. :punch_bag:

I just don't miss the Dooley and late model Fulmer days when our players were gassed with hands on hips by the third quarter. :thud: Now they're still bringing it in overtime. :rock2: Maybe they get hurt less when they're dry heaving from exhaustion? :dunno:
