I wonder if CFA is considering Miami now?

Doesn't seem to be from his Twitter...also seems like a polite and good guy..but next year we probably lose Kamara and Hurd so this isn't that big of deal offering another back

Reminds me of Hardesty, tough runner and fast enough. I doubt that 40 time is right btw, he looks like around a 4.5- 4.6 range (judging by people trying to chase him down)

He also seems to be a good receiver out of the backfield

We need lots of RB's.

Not sure any of the guys on the current roster, nor those being recruited this cycle, bring what we have in Hurd/Kamara.

However, we will be in the thick of it next year for several other top tier backs to reload.:rock:

Vols tell #Utah RB commit Zack Moss they need him "badly" during in-home. Will visit 1/29
In-Home Visit With Tennessee Gives Utah Commit Zack Moss Something to Think About - Football Recruiting - Scout

"The visit was just overall great," Moss said. "The things that caught my attention were the facilities and department I want to major in; it's literally state of the art. Also, he just got to the point with me and said they need me badly.

"I'd bring a whole different dynamic to that offense with my skill set. I was the first running back he spoke to with them now taking two running backs in this 2016 class. (My visit) is set for the 29th."

Despite entertaining an appetizing offer to spend his collegiate career in the SEC, Moss says his word resides with Kyle Whittingham's staff in Salt Lake City. The Utes will also host the big-bodied ball carrier this weekend for an official visit.

"I'm still very solid," Moss said. "I can't wait to get up there with those guys and have a good time. I jumped on Utah because I can see myself being successful in that offense. I just love the way they use running backs to their strengths."

Hardesty was a 100 m sprinter in HS and posted some times similar to Evan Berry. The knee injuries slowed him but he came to UT with a lot of speed.

This is a good move.....won't need him next year, but after Hurd and Kamara go we will need all hands on deck.

Interesting that he came out and said Tn is taking two Rbs in this class now, I am guessing they realized they probably thought twice about not taking two Rbs because of losing Hurd and Kamar next year.

Didn't know that, but thanks. I guess I just remembered how tough of runner he was.

No offense to Moss but if they wanted another RB, Rico Dowdle should have been the play. He and Kelly would have been formidable after Hurd and AK leave.
