I believe a kid that is not rated is automatically listed as a 5.4 2* on Rivals upon creation of a recruiting profile. Von Pearson was a notable example. As soon as major offers came in, he was evaluated and rated one of the biggest JUCOs of 2014.

How does a guy like this playing in Florida with the kind of speed that he has not have a handful of P5 offers before now?

Something changed that made this kid a realistic prospect that wasn't there prior to January 2016.

He had a breakout senior year production wise.

No Miami just hired USF WR coach who he committed to at USF. He decommitted as bigger offers came in. This wasn't suprising when Miami made that hire

Sounds like we lead for velus jones and calloway. May have something to do with that. I dont think we missed here but i dont think we told this kid we were full either.

Man I hope we get both Jones and Calloway. Especially Jones now that we missed on Williams.
