True. But isn't the tentative plan for Mecole to visit Knoxville right before signing day? This is very vague talk really, left it pretty open for interpretation. Could he be saying he isn't going back to UGA and doesn't like the staff, or he's seen enough and likes UGA no matter whom is coaching him, etc.
Also, what was his "I like Tennessee alot" quote in response to?
Dunno. The wildcard here is obviously Bama now that Pruitt is there. But perhaps we've pulled ahead of Georgia with all the coaching changes there. Perhaps others have more information that puts context around the tweet I posted.
Good lord, how many can Bama take every year?! They already have a ton of commitments and i keep reading how they are in the mix for other kids, yet we are capped pretty tight... they don't ever seem to have a down number year in number of recruits they can take. Hopefully Hardman sees how fruitful his time could be at UT and will pick our VOLS!
They take 25-26 every year. Last year they took 24.
Sitting at 17 now, they will probably add another 7-8.
Saban doesnt seem to go past 26 and avoids those large classes that can throw off your balance each year. We took 29 and 31 the last two years so this year we will pay for it by having to take low 20s.

Uga is the team that is furthest away from contending for the national title and yet I think they are the favorites to land him. Homerism aside I think bama, Tennessee and Michigan all give him a shot at a title before he graduates; ut offers immediate playing time at wr. IMO its up to him if he wants to make plays with the ball in his hand the way he always has or gamble on learning a new position and the techniques that go with it.
During an interview with 247Sports Kipp Adams on this weeks SEC Recruiting Buzz podcast, the five-star senior athlete from Elbert County High School in Elberton, Ga., said Tennessee is one of four teams standing out to him that have made him feel at home during his previous visits.
Definitely Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Michigan them four right there definitely stood out, said Hardman, whos ranked the nations No. 21 overall prospect and No. 1 athlete in the 247Sports Composite for the 2016 class.
