As far as skeeter goes, I believe he does/did work for the athletic dept and was just passing along what he was told from people who speak directly to recruits. Carl Lawson and Vonn Bell were either lying or just telling people what they wanted to hear in January 2013. Insider information will only be as trustworthy as the recruit. Like you, I miss him posting here and wish he would come back.

Back in the Fulmer days it seemed that he always would get a recruit that visited us last. I hope that's what happens with Hardman, Brown etc

He's got USAA game in January and he's visiting UT on the 15th for an official with his parents then he has the USA vs the World game to this month he just has a busy schedule

So OV, we are now getting an OV the 1st weekend out of the dead period? Didn't he say a while ago that we and UGA would not get an OV? If we are getting one, that's a huge development. Where do you think we stand, OV?

With Pig Howard off the team and Von Pearson gone to graduation, we need Hardeman in a bad way. Can't see him not starting as our slot WR, as the only one we have on the roster would be Vincent Perry. Josh Smith might have to be moved to the slot, but that's really not his thing, IMO. He's more of an outside possession type of WR.

Hardman might end up being Dobbs "Go To" receiver next season, the way Pig Howard was last season. Pearson seemed to be that kind of player, this season as well. He'd also see a lot of sweeps. Really need a baller in the slot with the speed and shiftiness to get to the corner and make some DB's miss.

As the saying goes, get him on campus and anything can happen. The build up to NSD is going to be fun. What's the over/under on number of poster breakdowns?

I think Smith would do well inside personally.

I was about to ask same thing, because like you, I am pretty sure he said he would not use OV on us and Georgia since he has/can visit often.

Wow, it almost sounds like you are saying that kids change their minds and mislead people and insiders can only report what they hear and know at the time. No, there's no way, man. All insiders all the time are fake.

He should be used there but I don't know what the coaches have planned. If his strengths are route running, hands, toughness, and his deceptive speed I'd let him eat in the slot. Plus Dobbs actually trusts him but I don't know what the coaches have planned. Malone had a stretch where he was playing well and we didn't design plays for him. They use Pearson like he's a big time YAC type of WR. Our WRs were much better running the intermediate routes to me. Malone and Williams were the only two that actually caught deep passes with CBs on them. And they were both inconsistent so I would've rather attacked defenses on early downs with the mid range passes. Our running game would've allowed for a mediocre WR group to flourish. I don't think our own fans realized how good our running game was this year.

not sure how you arrived at this juncture? honestly, i could care less about his recruitment, especially since hes playing the game...(that all changes in the .01 liklihood hes a Vol). Not sure this guy enjoys attention whore status?!
