Mecole Hardman said he doesn't care if he plays defensive back or receiver in college, but that right now he's leaning towards defensive back because that's where most are wanting him. I asked if that means Tennessee isn't as attractive and he said he can still see himself as a receiver, too. He said Tennessee hasn't talked to him about playing both sides of the ball or just corner, only wideout.
In talking to him today, I think he takes a visit to Alabama on Jan. 15. I think he likes Tennessee, but his relationship with Pruitt is starting to win out. He did say he will talk to his parents about what trip he wants to take and said he hasn't decided what he's going to do, but the feeling I got was that Alabama is the likely destination for that trip just based on our conversation.
