This kid loves the attention. He is a great talent, but he doesn't seem to have much common sense. He wants to follow a guy like Pruitt that has been at 3 schools in the past 4 years and leaves a trail of dust, burned bridges and sour relationships in his wake. Pruitt has been very up front about his goals to be a HC as soon as possible.

Taking this a step further, Pruitt has Mecole believing he is a DB in college when it is obvious to only the blind and mentally handicapped that he is special at WR. SMH at this kid's choices. UGA and Bama want him on defense although both have "told him he can play offense". Kid is either the most gullible recruit this cycle, or it's all about the bagman. I tend to think it is a little of both.

If our coaching staff had any confidence at all that Mecole was coming to UT, they would not be tossing out offers to any WR who can fall down a flight of stairs in less than 5 seconds.

He is just enjoying the Free Travel and more Twitter followers , Nothing wrong with that. I know i would take full advantage of the travel too. Cant remember the last time a SEC school played up in the Shoe, definitely worth seeing. We are still in play.

Heard Rusty Mansell from 247 on the radio reviewing the all-star camps. Said Mecole was the fastest, most explosive player on the field. He wanted to play both defense and offense but was far better on offense.
