As we reported earlier this week, Mecole Hardman is scheduled to be in town. Also, Kyle Davis, DeAngelo Gibbs and Breon Dixon are expected in as well. Emmit Gooden will likely be on campus, too.

As for Hardman, the feeling continues to be he's a Georgia lean at the moment, but getting him back on campus for the first time since before the summer is a positive development.

If you know recruiting lingo, when a prospect says a place fells like "home", you know what it means :). As I mentioned before, Mecole is the one where UGA led till recently. Why? Because of his parents. But with CBJ doing a great job with his parents (especially mom), they are warming up to us. Mecole always liked us. So i will call it even with UGA but we are getting some momentum. Let's see how this visit goes. I don't expect his parents to come, but if they do, it si a very good sign.

Potential #1 OL and QB? three years out? if you believe studs play with studs and we get Lawrence early, we become THE go to school in the SEC. Not saying 2017 is going to be mediocre but pulling in #1s at their posistions makes any class special, and so far we don't have any lined up in 17 like we do in 18

#1 CB (Gibbs), #1 QB (Johnson), #1 S (Okudah), #2 WR (Peoples-Jones), and #4 RB (Sermon) are high on us for 2017?

high on us like Mays and Lawrence (reportedly)

Gibbs and Okudah do seem likely, Johnson has sounded off a couple times that Lawrence might scare him.

I am just saying the star gazer in me is already looking past 2017 to 2018 as the "next" great class. i have no idea how either will turn out, just trying to provide another year of optimism.

to sum it all up, its great to be a Tennessee Vol!

The state of Tennessee is producing a ridiculous amount of talent in the '17 class that UT is in on, as well as maybe all of the top 5 players in North Carolina. Patience. It will be special as well.

If I had to bet I would say this is exactly what happens. We get Lawrence and Johnson goes to ND.

Mom still works in Athens, correct? Family is constantly surrounding by a pro-UGA and anti-UT presence. Butch and the staff are as good if not better than any staff in the country but if they win this one it will be the best recruiting job done by this staff to date. I think Hardman likes UT but I just see the UGA influence surrounding the family too much to overcome at the end. JMO, I would rather roll with yours though as a fan.
