That's a good thing to have on the DL because when he puts his arm up, it is about 8 feet in the air. Don't know many QB's who could throw over that.

I hate to be that guy...

But, Stokes has his own thread. This is the Nigel Warrior thread.

In my best Freak Font - let's try and stay on topic guys :)

The :) made me really believe you were Freak for a second. That was weird.

I am very excited about the possibilities of our DB class. With a legacy like Nigel to help anchor it down we are going to be in great shape here on NSD.

P Fort Q and A

Q: Would you call us the favorites for Nigel Warrior?

A: I don't know if I would say favorite, maybe the logical early choice because of the familiarity and ties to the program. But, Ohio State is wanting to be a major player there, as is Auburn, where he just visited, and several others. This guy will be a big-time, national recruit.

Besides NC aspirations I just don't see the draw for a southern kid to OSU. I've always been baffled by the SoFL kids who end up there. Growing up in SoFL myself, dreary and cold never appealed to me.

Got to remember that half of Florida's population is from Mich and Ohio. :)

It's like the Va. Tech thing, kids went there because they wanted to learn what a "Hokie" was. They go to OSU because they want to learn about the "Buckeye". No one tells them that it's a worthless nut because they would want no part of it.

Edit: I did hear once that you could trade 450 buckeyes for one acorn.

Not the kids who are going to play at OSU. Now if you told me that the people buying Jr's mom a new car are from Ohio, then I get where you are coming from.
Additionally, the largest number of transplants on the east coast of Florida are from NY and NJ. Those folks need to step up their game so Rutgers can get in on the FL recruiting action.

If i could pick two schools that I wouldnt want as competition for Warrior, OSU and AU would be at the top.

That said, after some nail biting I think the good guys win out.

Any signs of progress, and we sign a top 10 class. And we would need Warrior to make that happen. To me that would mean at least 8 wins. Including a a bowl win.

I want to see how this staff does when they go from using the pitch of early playing time, to sell kids on coming here to develop. Cause we will be loaded at safety when this guy gets here.

Stokes on DL? Kid will be like 6'8-6'10. Has there ever been a DL that tall? He's TE or OT all the way imo

Edit just looked up his weight, probably too big for TE by the time he's in college, so OT all the way, like Dan Skipper.

ED TO TALL JONES DALLAS COWBOYS IN THE 7OS and was first pick in the NFL DRAFT IN 1972 I BELIEVE AND WAS FROM TSU, SHOULD BE IN HALL OF FAME, HE WAS 6-9.

really? TK JR, Berry? Gaulden? Griffin. who else?

You listed 4 good players that will share 2 spots. We have depth there. It would take the second coming of Eric Berry for a freshman to get serious playing time in 2016.

considering that only 1 has any experience and will likely still be the only one getting good amount of experience this year I would say it is pretty open. Gaulden and Berry are ? on their final positions.

Kelly will get a lot of PT but at least 2 of the others will gain alot of experience in mop up time.

Feels good to have so much talented depth in the secondary. I don't feel real good about who would step in for Cam, but everywhere else is legit.
