Luckily gaulden and mccarron differ in the "being a big nancy boy" department.

Jonesboro (Ga.) Jonesboro 2016 quarterback Zerrick Cooper is approaching double-digit offers. Cooper says he visited Tennessee and North Carolina, two programs he hopes offer next, last week.

"At North Carolina (what stood out), it is how the coaches made me feel," Cooper said. "They went 1-on-1 with me, telling me what I need to work on and what I am good at. Same as Tennessee."

An offer from the Volunteers is one the 6-foot-3, 200-pound quarterback covets.
"I love Tennessee," Cooper said. "Actually a former player Cam Sutton - plays for Tennessee. I would love to play with him."

If possible, Cooper would like to visit Nebraska and Wisconsin.

"(Nebraska) It is different," Cooper said. "I have never been there, so I am looking forward to trying something new."

Cooper hopes to make a decision after his junior year. Right now, Clemson is recruiting him the hardest and the coaching staff Cooper knows the most.

"(They tell me) That they would love me," Cooper said. "They want a competitor that is willing to compete as well as learn and develop."

reminds me of deshaun watson. get this kid an offer. I think he's our 2016 qb. I like him even more than Kendall.

With UT having already offered a dozen QBs for 2016, I'd imagine it could still be a little while before the next offers go out at QB. Only 3 of the 12 UT have offered have committed already. I'd also figure UT will only be looking to take 1 in 2016 unless we lose a current QB between now and this time next year(Other than Worley of course).

With Allison already choosing the Canes, I now doubt they are in play for Cooper. Maybe he is offered in the next ones going out.

I think theyre are two sec level, instate QB's in 2016 (Deuce Wallace and Javaughn Craig) that would be thrilled if we offer.

What I forsee is Jennings eventually moving to another position and us taking two QB's in 2016. I'd like to see either Guarantano or Cooper along with either Wallace or Craig.

just my two cents

Jennings sticks at QB, I'm fine with just taking Kendall. IF JJ looks like a move to S is in the plans, Kendall and Wallace would be a great haul IMO.

forgot about Kendall...but that's at least 5 QBs in 2016 that we are in good shape with early on.

He’s a dual threat who got run out of Clemson for a Pro-style QB. What are we running now?

ESPN 2016 class, was the 9th QB-PP & ESPN 300 recruit...6'3 205...reshirted freshmen year, so would be a soph this year...could be a nice get for us...if really needed 😀

He's already redshirted...probably juco route and then somewhere else beyond that, fits the mold of ending up somewhere similar to fau with kiffin, doubt he transfers directly to another 4 year place with red shirt burned....didn't look good to me when he relieved Bryant at Syracuse, a defense that made every acc opponent look like offensive juggernauts...no thanks

He looked horrible when he played. Go watch Clemson versus Syracuse, he played after Bryant got hurt. He can’t throw and is BAD....
