Jonesboro (Ga.) Jonesboro 2016 quarterback Zerrick Cooper is approaching double-digit offers. Cooper says he visited Tennessee and North Carolina, two programs he hopes offer next, last week.
"At North Carolina (what stood out), it is how the coaches made me feel," Cooper said. "They went 1-on-1 with me, telling me what I need to work on and what I am good at. Same as Tennessee."
An offer from the Volunteers is one the 6-foot-3, 200-pound quarterback covets.
"I love Tennessee," Cooper said. "Actually a former player Cam Sutton - plays for Tennessee. I would love to play with him."
If possible, Cooper would like to visit Nebraska and Wisconsin.
"(Nebraska) It is different," Cooper said. "I have never been there, so I am looking forward to trying something new."
Cooper hopes to make a decision after his junior year. Right now, Clemson is recruiting him the hardest and the coaching staff Cooper knows the most.
"(They tell me) That they would love me," Cooper said. "They want a competitor that is willing to compete as well as learn and develop."
