This has been bothering me a while:

Are they seriously handcuffing dobbs in a desperate attempt to make him into a pocket passer? When they realize things aren't going right they turn him loose and good things happen.

OR

are they simply trying to keep him fresh for the home stretch? (meaning the gauntlet coming up)

My feelings are slightly misdirected. Dobbs is a heck of an athlete, just not much of a QB.

I feel the staff (or maybe it's him himself) is trying too hard to make him a pocket passer and have gotten away from what worked last season.
