and exactly who has been successful against tressel in the big 10? 2nd best coach in the big ten right now hands down. I find it amazing how he competes year in year out with 2 and 3 stars while ohio state gets national recruits every year

I live in IA and their fans suck... that's why I hate them.

They always think Iowa has a shot at the championship.

They know nothing about sports outside of the Hawkeyes, Cubs or Cardinals.

The Hawks are all they talk about.

All they do is drink. Alcohol poisoning if they win, alcohol poisoning if they lose.

They think it's dumb if you live in Iowa and don't cheer for Iowa. To me, that's dumb.

Basically... Iowa fans are hard to live with. That's why I don't like the Hawkeyes. Also, if you know about the parking ramp situation with the hospital, it's ridiculous. The school cares more about football than their hospital employees and patients.

I'm sure that's the case with a lot of fan bases and honestly, I'm friends with the same people I'm complaining about. I have no problem with them in general. Just grown annoyed by their fandom. Not much going on in Iowa so it's like all they talk about.

Actually, a lot of the fans used to be the same way about basketball. They ran Alford out of town though and now that the team is worse than ever, they don't even check the box scores. It's one less thing I have to hear about but that also bothers me about the fans. Back in the day when they had guys like Luke Recker/Reggie Evans and Greg Brunner/Jeff Horner, Iowa fans were nuts about basketball. Now they could care less. The basketball team is really bad but my teams are bad all the time and I've always kept up with them. I might not watch every single game but I definitely continue to follow them. Would be nice to see more of them that are a little less fair weather.
