In regards to Roach, Tennessee has very much impressed him. Now, he says he's going to take other visits this fall before doing something and I wouldn't just say Tennessee is the team to beat, but if he's going to leave the region and Tennessee has a spot for him the Vols will be tough to beat. Right now, he says he's willing to leave the region. Now, if LSU offers at some point, all bets are off.

Tennessee continues to be a strong contender with Malcom Roach of Louisiana. The Vols made a strong impression on him earlier in the summer and since his visit some have thought Tennessee may be the team to beat. The one thing to watch out for is LSU. While other schools are certainly in the mix, everything could change if the Tigers offer. Right now, it seems like there are higher instate priorities for LSU, but if they choose elsewhere Roach could quickly become a target.

Hubbs talked about Roach being a DE take for this staff. I like it. Just have to hold off LSU, which they usually take what they want out of LA.

Collins,C Robinson,Janzen.They get alot but not all.That's 3 5 stars they didn't get.

Luckily they are loaded this year on dline so some good dudes will slip through. He told 247 that he doesn't expect LSU to offer. Things could always change come NSD though

roach is a good player. Kid can really run for 255lbs. Mizzou wants him and we see what they do with DL. Give this kid to stripling and just watch.

In how many years? Darrel Williams comes to mind. LSU keeps these players in their back pocket and heavily pursues them 2 weeks before signing day. Bottom line is... If LSU extended a commitable offer to either Christmas-Giles or Roach, one if not both would probably flip. Lets hope that doesn't happen.

Malcolm Roach has plans to be in Knoxville for when the Vols take on Arkansas. As of now he plans on that visit being an unofficial visit with an official visit to take place at a later date.

Choosing tomorrow between us, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Missouri, and Texas Tech. We have 6 out of 8 CB predictions. Not a 4-star, but I've really loved this kid's film for a while. I'm interested in how hard we have been recruiting him lately.

I actually was wondering about him the other day.

I'm thinking he's a back up option right now. Seems the staff really wants a JuCo guy this class to go along with C.O. and I also think that Bethel kid might be higher on the board, too. I don't think Roach has been on campus since the summer, either.

Wouldn't mind picking up Roach, though. Love to reach into Louisiana and he's also a legacy.

I don't think he has a commitable offer as of now, at least 247 doesn't think so. Has a lot of upside
