Yeah, I remember when Dormady, Weatherd and Pearson all sucked... then overnight, they became great. I also remember that TCU sucked last year because they only have 2 and 3 star players.

Exactly. Rankings will change a lot before we get to signing day and these kids are still Jr's in HS. Yea that same TCU team that ran Ole Miss( who beat the brakes off us) off the field before they even got to halftime. Pretty obvious from his film that he won't remain a low 3* for long.

Scout doesn't have him ranked yet either but show him with offers from TN,GA, Ark, LSU, TCU, Cal and a few others.

Two things.

1. Tennessee currently has no problem pulling top talent
2. We are 9 months from NSD, so there is no way this is a "panic" commitment.

Therefore, this guy is likely awesome, and top 5 on their board for the position.

I think it's more because you are trying to minimize everyone's excitement for his commitment... presumably bc of a low/no rating when the kid hasn't even been evaluated yet.

You're essentially downing the kid like it's his fault he hasn't been evaluated yet. Cmon man...

Edit: Oh also... If you can't watch his tape and see the kid has wheels and some silky smooth moves then you're beyond help.

They young man has a nice offer list. If the coaches like him I'll roll with that. That 4.41 40 is nice. Need all the speed we can get.

I'm thinking he looks like a 3" taller lighter skinned PIG. Add 20-25 lbs to him and he will be deadly in the slot. If he grows some dreads then its over
