Not to go all Nationdom here but is this another under the radar type guy? I mean he's not even ranked on Rivals or 247 and his offer list is rather pedestrian. Are we just not on any highly rated tackles this year? Is our haul from last year scaring some of the elite DTs off?

From what's been said earlier, this guy is the real deal and may be one of the better DTs in this class. Got to trust Butch on this one. He should blow up anytime.

Not questioning the staff's decision to recruit this kid, more of questioning the lack of interest from elite DT's. Not seeing any of them having much interest in the Vols.

We may still be in on Derrick Brown but not sure. My guess is the coaches will get someone on board and keep recruiting like always.

I have no idea, that's why I asked. I wonder if our DT haul last year is frightening off some of the higher rated recruits.

I think last years DT class plus the two commits this year just means they are being really selective and trying to get their guy. Two 5*'s plus Picou getting a RS this year and now adding a 4/5* juco plus Christmas-Giles leaves us in a pretty good place to be picky to fill out this class imo.
