2nd series: handoff, scramble/throw away, scramble 3 yds and should have gotten out of bounds, scramble and sacked. Although pressured, he made a couple bad decisions.

The fact he made the team and getting some solid coaching is awesome. Not worried about a performance here given OL and WR making you look better or worse than reality.

Also, JG will redshirt for a year which will give him time to improve. You can't coach the arm strength he comes in with.

has anyone watched a hs all star game? not being hateful, the defense always wins. there are three diff qbs playing. the wr's have one week with three qbs

It's just unreal how little time he gets to throw the ball. Also doesn't help that the play calling hasn't been all that good either. At least Jarret doesn't look as bad as the other two QB's look.

Looking good this drive...

Unfortunately his receivers have dropped 2 passes this drive and 1 earlier.

JG has a cannon. That ball just rips out of his hand. Several balls on money that WRs dropped right in their hands. Best QB on his team that's for sure. Don't pay attention to stats. 4 drops on balls on the money including one that would have been a huge play. He will have to learn touch and when to let some of that velocity go but loads of talent.

After being the top quarterback for Team Armour throughout the week, Tennessee quarterback commitment Jarrett Guarantano didn’t see playing time until late in the first half because of a rotating policy.

And when he did see time, late in both halves, Guarantano didn’t have many opportunities because of his team’s poor offensive line play.

“I thought I was the starter but they only played me for two series at the end of the half,” Guarantano said. “So, I’m going to go home now and get ready for Tennessee.”

Team Armour quarterbacks were sacked six times in the game and Guarantano felt there wasn’t much creativity to the offense as well. The New Jersey signal caller finished 1 for 7 passing, but had several balls dropped as well.

“It was pretty terrible,” Guarantano said. “We were just running hitches the whole time so I think the other team started to catch on.”

But, Guarantano leaves hoping he did enough in practice to show his true form.

“I think as the week went on it was more noticeable that I’m one of the better players in the country, thankfully,” Guarantano explained. “So, I am just thankful for the opportunity to go out there and play.”

Two things. Who was the coach? they should have their coaching creds revoked, those kids deserved better.

and, it makes me sick that Tennessee barely got a mention at this game. Butch really has tk step it up, there were some good players that committed to top teams in this game. Rich got richer.
