you would have to think he decided a while back....it is crazy for these kids to pick an announcement date and not be sure right up to it....why put that kind of pressure on yourself....yet we hear this all the time.

That's because four-star quarterback Jarrett Guarantano of Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic will announce his college decision at 3 p.m., choosing between three finalists - Ohio State, Tennessee and Rutgers.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound junior accumulated more than 40 scholarship offers, but recently narrowed it down to three. His decision will be a surprise, especially considering he told NJ Advance Media on Tuesday that he still isn't sure where he's going to commit.

"I actually haven't decided yet," Guarantano said Tuesday.

I guess I still have flashbacks from the days of CDD and TN being 2nd choice so many times!

I admit I haven't followed JGs recruitment that close. Just worried about CUM and the fact Ohio State just won the national title. Also, CUM stealing the five star DB (Von Bell) out of TN after CBJ was hired is also something hard to forget.

Hope CBJ locks this guy up!

I get where you're coming from but since Von Bell CBJ has gone head to head in recruiting battles with Urbs and bested him.

Ohio St. certainly is an attractive option for prospects for a variety of reasons but I think Butch is doing a great job selling his vision of rebuilding UT and returning it to its proper place as a college football blue blood. I think the results from the last two classes show the message is resonating with recruits.

I think our patience as a fan base will ultimately be greatly rewarded, and today's announcement is just another brick on the foundation.

Just for context, Butch has a 20 year relationship with JG's father from when Butch was a GA at Rutgers and JGs dad was a star WR there. He's been recruiting him a long time. JG made his first recruiting visit to Tennessee back in 2013. All signs point toward Butch and UT, so while nothing is a sure thing, it sure seems like Butch has worked his recruiting magic again here. Now....throw in GFW's insight and confidence and I don't know how we can feel anything but very good.
