1. JoeJuan Williams, CB, Hendersonville (Tenn.) High School
Williams is so big and fast that he can get away with being extremely aggressive at the line of scrimmage. Though he's clearly in a safety's body, Williams absolutely has the cover ability to be a cornerback in the right system. Though he's not ready to publicly list any favorites, USC is close to offering and that would be a big one for him.
Were the same as (my relationship with) Coach Martinez. We talk about life. (Jones) talks to my mom a lot now, and theyve got a special relationship. My mom kind of actually likes him. She thinks hes a really cool dude, a really great dude. Theyve got a great relationship. Weve got a great relationship. Its good.
After getting his first offer from the Vols in May 2014, he visited them three or four times in a span of about three months before his current drought of about 10 months without a UT visit. Tennessee is recruiting him really hard, he likes the Vols, and he already feels pretty comfortable with them.
I would be surprised if UT isn't at least a strong contender all the way to the end of his recruitment. Much like with Kyle Phillips last year, Williams likes other teams, too, and is going to take his time making a decision. But Tennessee is a major factor in this one and isn't going away any time soon, in my opinion.
